It took me about 2.5 - 3 weeks to complete the Falcon. The set itself is really amazing with a bunch of details that make it an excellent upgrade to the previous UCS Falcon. The build was grueling and complex, not in a bad way. It&rsquo;s just that you build a bunch of sub-assemblies and it takes awhile before you get to &ldquo;shape&rdquo; the Falcon and put on the exterior pieces. Building the Falcon will make all other Lego builds seem easy in comparison. Despite that, I love the end result. It displays beautifully and most will not be disappointed especially for any Star Wars fan. Some nitpicks. Ended up with about 6 missing exterior pieces. Lego replaced it quite quickly. Once I built it, I needed a way to display it, so I bought a Technic stand. It was crazy to mount it. My first attempt had a bunch of parts just falling off everywhere. Took awhile to rebuild it, 3 hours or so. Decided to try again a week after and it was easy since I knew what to look out for. Transporting it to my upstairs office was nerve racking. End result is that it is the center piece of my collection. I'm glad though now they separate out the bags more and the books are smaller and the bags go in order in the separated boxes which is probably the only downside to this build is the book takes up most of my table space. Organizing the legos to get ready for the build takes a lot of space since theres so many bags per number. Was shocked when i read this was only 17 bags. Lol . This was the first largest set they ever sold to the public so of course it had its challenges. I love it though. The only negative side, is that is very fragile, and you need to be very careful with it. I would like some parts to be more fixed assemble. It is very unfinished, by the end you&rsquo;ll notice that the panels aren&rsquo;t t even secured to the structure, their just plopped down on the structure and not even secured, IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS LEGO, you guys could have easily secured the panels with one piece. Also, you guys could have easily made the turrets at the top and bottom spinning turrets, but once again you didn&rsquo;t, I easily fixed that, and I don&rsquo;t even work for Lego&hellip; you guys could have done better. But the overall structure of the build and the details are spot on, just the panels are not my favorite and the turrets. Be extremely careful when moving the set, it is very fragile and can easily break, and it happened to me, but it was an easy fix. Also read the instructions all the way through because there is helpful info on how to handle the set. Also, the set is very heavy and somewhat flimsy, so do not try to play with it, it will most likely break. IT IS NIT DESIGNED TO BE FLOWN AROUND. The sheer size is immense, the build is lengthy and the mini figs are good. In 2023 however, modern UCS like the At-At, Razor Crest &amp; Luke&rsquo;s Landspeeder make this really look like a hunk of junk. Firstly, this kit is WAY too big! It is very flimsy, and it&rsquo;s not the fact that it has over 7,000 pieces. I have built the Titanic, and that was brilliant, and that had over 9,000 pieces! But with this kit, there are so many small pieces that just won&rsquo;t stay on, that I have resorted to putting a dab of superglue on a lot of them to keep them in place! The instructions in putting each unit/panel together, are accurate as usual. But it is difficult to see where they actually go on the main body? And the panels that go underneath are particularly difficult. You can&rsquo;t turn it over, so have to lay on your back to get underneath! There a lot of 5* reviews, so perhaps for an expert builder, it will be fine? But for someone that is relatively new to lego, this one is particularly difficult. I gave up after I was not even half way through, as parts kept falling off! So I would suggest that you go for the smaller version, 75257, I have built that one with no problems! You may ask why didn&rsquo;t I start with small kits, and then work my way up? The Falcon is huge, the fun was there, lasting over a month and a half (good pacing xD) I received this set for my birthday, this was a long dream and it provided all that I wished for and more. My inner child was absolutely thrilled to be able to create this beautiful ship piece by piece. I really enjoyed the engineering behind this model to make it as sturdy as possible, the little details inside like the cargo hidden compartment and the chess room absolutely added to the experience. It was a journey and I know I'll be building it over and over again with just as much pleasure as the first time. The Millennium Falcon was my 4th set that I purchased and i have to say the attention to detail and the engineering behind the set was just amazing. This by far has been my favorite build of all the star war sets that I&rsquo;ve purchased. Have only managed part of the first section of the build and have discovered 13 of the same part missing. Restrictions on ordering missing parts mean I can only order 6, but as there is no stock of the part concerned, I will not be proceeding with the build any time soon. It is worrying that so many people are having the same issue with the same model.
