<span itemprop="description">This car is beautiful. The design is almost perfect. The only issues I had is that the roof doesn't really sit as flush as it should and one step of the build process, but overall for me this might be the perfect Lego set I have built. The build was so fun I finished in one day (I usually take at least 2) because I didn't want to stop.
Everything went together perfectly except or the hose part on the engine. I think this should have been part of the initial engine build instead of later in the process (I only built the turbo so maybe this had to be done when you decide which model to finish with). It was the only challenging part and it took like maybe 3 or 4 attempts to get it in, so really not too bad at all.
I highly recommend picking this up. I'm thinking of buying another because it was just so much fun and then I can display both models together.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I ordered this set with some Christmas money in December but it was on backorder.
It arrived yesterday and I built it over 2 sessions.
Firstly, the set is a very good representation of the 911, it very nearly captures all the lines of the iconic car, another major plus is that there are no stickers, everything is printed.
I know I'm not alone when I say that I HATE stickers!
The build itself is pretty straightforward, no real tricky parts, although there is a mistake in the instructions on page 195 in the placement of the printed window piece.
There are only 2 things that let this set down in my opinion, the first is the rear light cluster. It is mostly made up of solid colours rather than translucent pieces. I can forgive the centre part but the indicators really should be translucent and the solid orange really lets the set down.
The second is not specific to this set, more a general Creator Expert vehicle issue, there really needs to be some bigger wheels with lower profile tyres at this scale, especially for sports car sets.
That being said, I have nearly all of the Creator Expert vehicles and with the exception of Ecto1, I think this one may be my favourite.</span>

There is an incredible amount of detail in this model; I also love the fact that all the pieces are printed (no stickers). <span itemprop="description">Étant collectionneur, et surtout de cette gamme, le set est rempli de détails vraiment impressionnant et appréciable cependant il y a un très gros problème.
En effet, si vous êtes curieux et que vous voulez construire les 2 modèles possibles (targa ou turbo), pour ensuite choisir le quelle choisir, cela est vraiment mal pensé et compliqué : une fois un modèle construit, pour le changer il faut démonter plusieurs éléments déjà construits et SURTOUT chercher lesquelles ... D'autant plus qu'avec le cabriolet il reste plus d'une centaine de pièces restantes du targa ... Donc qui ne servent quasiment à rien ... Il aurait été préférable d'avoir à monter les éléments des deux modèles pour les changer comme bon nous semble, cela était envisageable, la marque l'a fait avec la même gamme pour la Ford Mustang ...
Autre point négatif : la fragilité du pare brise et du tableau de bord ...
En bref, set magnifique, mais pas pratique pour le changement de modèles ( il faut choisir le bon tout de suite, on nous laisse pas vraiment le choix !)</span>

<span itemprop="description">I don't know what it is about 70s and early 80s Porsche 911s, but I think they are just so cool. So When this set came out, I knew I had to have it. The engineering and design put into this set is really incredible. This set was fairly easy to build, and it took me about 5 hours to build which when I first started, I thought it would be at least a 10 hour build. It is easier to build this car than it may seem, so don't worry about it being too hard even though its 18+. Once I was done building, I made a little mod to the car. First, I took the brake disks off of the Porsche, then I borrowed the wheels off of my Technic Dodge Charger, and put them on the Porsche, and it looks great, even though it doesn't roll with these wheels cuz they are big for the Porsche. If you don't have the Dodge Charger, its ok. You can take the wheels that come with the set, and put them in backwards. It also looks good this way. But anyway, if you like Porsches, this would be a great set for you.</span>

Falls between the Mustang & the Aston-Martin for ruggedness. I was really impressed with the smooth transition & flow of the body parts. No problem with the instructions but there were a couple illustrations lacking the right angle for clarity. Would definitely recommend.</span>

I know it can be a lot to ask for and I should be grateful that you can build two models but since there are bricks that are houses both in targa and turbo, it’s not like you build (eg “the roof” for the turbo) and put it aside.. you end up with some 50 bricks that cannot be used..
An idea (like I did) was to build something “cool” with the extra bricks and make it part of the set somehow, or at least include a bag to store. Them</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this for my husband, who loves this set but is not a builder. I always put the sets together for him. This was such a great build experience. A bit easier than the Stranger Things set but still challenging due to the movable parts. We love how the steering wheel actually works and the trunk lifts to reveal the engine. Only thing that was strange is that the wheel rims in our set were black, but on the box they showed silver/gray. My husband didn’t mind but I think the gray would have looked nicer.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I’ve built many LEGO sets in the 2,000 piece range, and this has to be one of the most consistently enjoyable builds, and one of the most satisfying final products. It just looks and feels complete and darn near perfect. Unlike the 10290 pickup truck I built recently, which is a lovely final product but had some really frustrating moments, this one is pure delight start to finish. My highest recommendation.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this build and I have almost all the sports cars that have come out since before the Ferrari F40. The best part is that the logos are printed on the bricks instead of junk stickers like the lambo and the Bugatti have! This needs to be the standard!</span>

<span itemprop="description">For my birthday I purchased this set. Everything was fine until bag 5. The first step in bag 5 was missing 2 different pieces. Hmmmmm I thought, in all the years of buying Lego for the kids I have never experienced a missing Lego piece. Ever. Not one. Bag 5. Oh boy. What the heck happened Lego? was someone asleep? I went online and turns out Lego send out free replacement parts. I never knew this because its never happened before. I figured out the missing bits and ordered. No biggie. I then thought maybe it doesn't matter as its hidden within the car, so I found some replacement parts (different colours) from our collection. Sit down tonight and the next step more missing parts! I then look though the rest of the steps for bag 5 and find 10 different parts missing. 10! What the heck? Very disappointing as I had purchased it 3 months ago and didn't open it till my actual birthday.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really like how the seats move forward like a real car would to get in and out of the back seat, I also like how realistic it is with the engine in the back. I did find an issue in the instructions when building the turbo design and was able to fix it realizing right away they were having me put a window on the wrong way, it was an easy fix and not a big deal. I do wish it had an easier way to steer from the outside like some of the other vehicles I have, other then this I really do love this car.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Like a previous reviewer I am an experienced lego builder but found the build quality of the finished model quite fragile. I too went for the roof option and it falls off when the model is upside down despite pushing everything in firmly, and the side pillars are loose too. When trying to fit the bottoms of the rear wheel arches the left rear wing fell off a couple of times and the bottoms of the rear wheel arches kept falling off as the model was rotated to push the wheels onto their axles. There were also a couple of times during the build when I found it easier to deviate from the instructions, especially when completing the engine intallation. This is supposed to be done in 2 stages (pages 183 to 188) but I found it much easier to join the 2 parts together before fitting them as a single unit (the second part is quite tricky to locate).
Finally, and this is going to be very contentious, there were several times throughout the build when I thought of glue!!</span>
