One small thing Lego.... needs a few extra elements (which I purchased separately) to turn it into a Turbo Targa which would be nice if they were a free addition making it even better. <span itemprop="description">Challenging, and yet relaxing build. I found building the Porsche 911 to be the nicest of all of the Lego large cars. The instructions were flawless, making the fit of the pieces absolutely perfect and easy to work with.
Although I’m not personally a fan of the overall look of a Porsche, and never have been, I find myself growing very attached to the overall Porsche dimensions and looks by building this model. The clean lines a timeless shape of the Porsche whether it’s a love it or leave it a fair for you building this car will definitely be something you’ll never regret. Of all of the Lego cars that I have built, it seems to have the best fit as far as strength and durability, and does not ask you to get into a lot of contortion to fit pieces in late in the game.
I highly recommend this model build. as you can see in my photos, I also have the James Bond Aston Martin DB five, 1969 Camaro, and the 1968 mustang. I also have built the back to the future car, which actually is my least favorite due to the fit and instructions.
Once again, Lego and especially the designer, Mike Psaiki have a struck gold. well Done.
I chose the Targa version, which, yes, does include a snap on roof that stores under the hood.
Scaling to other LEGO large cars, based on wheel base, it appears that Camaro and Mustang models are scaled a little longer, yet narrow er than the Porsche model, and the James Bond DB5 has the smallest scale of all four. (Not taken precise).</span>

It’s a fun item and I would love to do this with my son or my grandson again, but the fact that too many parts are missing, is absolutely ridiculous. In each and every bag there has been at least one or two missing parts. Several of which have been found in a different bag, but a young person shouldn’t be expected or possibly know to do this. Having to glue parts together in order for them to hold into place is ridiculous. If they’re going to recommend glue to hold the parts together then they should include it in the packaging .
Having missing parts prevents you from moving forward on the project. Certainly you can order them, but then what happens when you get those two pieces and you’re able to move forward on the project and then realize you need two more pieces? Exactly why every single part of the parts are listed in the back of the book….right next to a bold customer service number ….because they know there are parts missing ….and that’s ridiculous.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The Lego Porsche was a great build. There are so many little details, although the changing from the turbo into the Targa was a bit trouble some as I do like to see the difference. Some people were complaining about missing pieces i did not have that problem.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought it for myself for birthday! Well it was my wife who bought it but I asked for it. The building experience was awesome. It took about three nights of work after the kids have gone to sleep. I have now placed it in my office and I am waiting for some of my patients to ask to see this amazing Lego production!
The only downside is it doesn’t have any of the technical things. On the flip side, it has way more details than Technic. Overall, it is a great addition to your office space! Cannot believe I am getting addicted to Lego at the age of 33!</span>
