As a first time builder, I was confused at the extra parts, because when reading the manual I don't think it says anything about them and I thought I was doing something wrong, but with a quick google search I was relieved that I wasn't doing anything wrong but the set just came with extra pieces. I guess most builders would know that, but since this was the first set I had ever built, I was a bit confused.</span>
