Fair Warning - The shuttle is huge at nearly 2' long and 14'' wide and it's as big as my dog. Finding a safe space to display it is still a challange.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I don't understand how Lego, being a company with high standards of quality and verification, could have sent an incorrect piece in bag number 7. The worst thing is that this piece is in a visible part and can be seen with the naked eye because the lower color stands out. In addition, bag number 16 came open and although there were no missing pieces, it is strange to see something like this. It seems somewhat out of place to me since I never expected something like this.</span>

<span itemprop="description">So overall this is a pretty good set, however there are a few issues that had a negative impact on my build experience.
First, there was a single missing piece - as a result the rear landing gear does not work :( I've made a request for the missing piece, hopefully it doesn't take over a week to arrive!
Secondly some of the instructions are a tad off - they are not wrong but the angle of the pictures leave some block positions a little ambiguous. To be fair this is a criticism of many Lego sets - there are only so many angles you can see in a 2D print :)
Thirdly the use of stickers for some detailing - sorry I don't like having to use stickers on Lego, and worse is that this set has some printed parts and then stickers for other parts - it really makes no sense. Use one method or the other.
The forth issue may seem like nitpicking, but considering the attention to detail it is disappointing. This is NOT the Space Shuttle, it is the Orbiter - without the two SRB's and the main fuel tank (the whole package is the Space Shuttle).
Overall though this was a very nice set to build, both the Orbiter and Hubble are very solid and look very nice on my display shelf. The two stands are also very sturdy and hold up well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I think this build is okay but Lego really missed some crucial points of the shuttle. First off as one who had worked at Kennedy space center and worked in the assembly building, I’ve seen the shuttle up close and personal. I can’t believe Lego did not add the protected tiles (shuttle is known for it) on the bottom. Not to mention it’s nice that it has retracts but again why not add the retract doors or aka flaps? This would not have been hard to do and would have made it even better. Also as the wheels are retracted good luck getting them out with out a small tool. Like the printed pieces but why add stickers also? I mean really 4 extra bricks come on, it’s not like they don’t make a fortune on this set. The bay doors should have had the hinges on the inside and where the Hubble w the solar panels would fit in the cargo bay. The cockpit from being in (Atlantis) is not even close. Yes it’s hard for small space but least get the main seats right ( there are panels between them and above etc. definitely could have made the engines better. The Saturn fives are better than these w more detail. For the extra 100-200 pieces the price difference would be worth it.
Next is why build the Artemis set when they could have done launch pad 39a with the mover and solid rocket booster and external tank as a follow up set?</span>

<span itemprop="description">This set was incredible! I love to learn about space and the deal you get on this set is awesome: you basically get two sets for the price of one. I was missing one piece when building the Hubble Space Telescope but I ordered the part and it was shipped within two days or so, plus it didn't hinder progress of the build, so it wasn't like a big bummer anyway. The space shuttle itself was the supreme part of this build. The incredible detail on the inside and out make for a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. It was a little time consuming as it took about 9 hours for me to build, but every hour was worth it. As far as all the flimsiness comments I've seen, for me it was only at one part in the build, but after that I had to trouble at all. Just build on a flat surface and it won't be as bad. When I finished it was actually bigger then I was expecting. I had nowhere to put it on my shelf at first but I made space (see what I did there). Overall, this was a really fun set, and it is so satisfying to even look at, let alone touch. The mini bibliographies contain nice little factoids too.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I 'grew up' when the Space Shuttle was first launched and watched with fascination as it came back and then returned to space. This was 'my spaceship'.
When Hubble was launched I was excited with the virtually limitless discoveries that lay ahead. I was dismayed and then re-energised when the optical flaw was discovered and then corrected.
I was very happy building a large and intricate model. I was thrilled to finally own 'my spaceship'. I was amazed to hold Hubble in my hands. I was proud to show the Space Shuttle to my friends and family and point out all of the great details that are present on the real things.
If the Space Shuttle is 'your spaceship' then this LEGO set is a must buy. You will not regret it.</span>
