Marvel too is one of my favorite franchises dating back to the cartoons, comics, and series I grew up with and loved. This set is all I could ask for considering the aforementioned details. It is a sprawling majestic building filled to the brim with action, color, and details. Lego really knocked it out the park on this one. The building process itself was a fun one full of fun techniques. Also, the pure joy, satisfaction, and sense of accomplishment you receive from building the skyscraper from the ground up is unparalleled. This set as many other sets is full of various nods to the history of Spiderman including game references, comic references, and even the infamous Spiderman desk meme! What more could you ask for?? The amount of love and passion shown in designing this set is obvious and palpable. The Minifigures are absolutely perfect choices that compliment the feeling of the set well to create a chaotic but fun scene. I could gush on and on about how much I love what they did here, but will conclude with one last statement... My favorite parts of these large sets are the accessories and how they are made. I love the soda machine, the air conditioning unit, the billboards. My son's favorite part is the minifigures. Particularly Green Goblin hanging on his glider out of the exploded window. The price for this set is probably the most I have spent on a set but it was totally worth it. My only gripe is the repetitive nature of the glas block walls, they were like 10% of the set. I wanted something very interesting to start and the Daily Bugle was a sure thing because of the size, complexity, and my kids and I are Marvel fans. Overall, this set was a great build experience. My kids help with the process and it was great building something we all would appreciate. Most of mini figures were excellent. Three of the citizen figures I was not familiar with so I research to get their backstories. Nothing really surprising about them. There are some things that keeps me from giving this set 5 stars. I think there should have been alternative instructions for people who did not want to build the green goblin blasting out the building. I learned online that all the pieces were there to build the structure with all walls intact, which we did. It was not easy though. Another point is that this set is not really playable inside the floors. My kids pointed out you have to take the front walls about to play or change figures around. It&rsquo;s not as fun to take apart and reassemble parts of the building to play inside the interior of the building. Thus, we established characters outside the building and have it on display. Lastly, I would say these modular sets are quite expensive. This is the most I ever paid for a Lego set, and probably won&rsquo;t spend this much on just one set again. The building experience and result is hard to justify the expensive. However, I have purchased more Modular&rsquo;s since this purchase. I will review those separate. I like how it&rsquo;s been designed with display in mind, for example having the Green Goblin go through the window and being able to place various mini figs at different levels. I think the price is good and worth paying as this is something that doesn&rsquo;t come around often. This is a must buy for any Lego Marvel fan. I will say be prepared for it taking up quite a bit of space in terms of height! My only real complaint about the set is that they misspelled Curt Connors name on the big TV screen sticker. Not sure how typos like that happen with such a big company. She knows I love LEGO and knows my love for Peter Parker. The build was enjoyable at first, until you get to the windows. Although I didn&rsquo;t have any trouble with the floor the Green Goblin is on I can see how that can be an issue. The minifig selection is awesome to me; loving The Punisher and Blade. Also DareDevil adds a flair (NWH). Once built my 10 yo who previous wanted no part of building has since built 2 sets on his own; as he loved it from first sight.
