A fun build experience and operates flawlessly.
This was my second major Lego set construction. (The other being the Lamborghini). I enjoyed both builds but with the Loop Coaster you can interact with it after completion. For me it worked flawlessly and no missing pieces. Whenever I thought I had a missing piece or something didn’t quite fit correctly, I went back and checked my build and sure enough I had used the part somewhere else by mistake or had missed fitting a part correctly. The instructions were great - the trick is to actually follow them! The only thing I objective to is squirrels not being allowed on the ride - I’m sure if I was a squirrel I would be very disappointed. :-)

The LEGO Loop Coaster was an exciting build. When it was finished the elevator and counterweight were not working with each other. Good but not great
Let's start with the good!
The color choices look great
The station, accessories and general apprearence are all an upgrade on the previous coaster
And now the bad:
It's too tall. I know it's height it's meant to be a good thing but it's way off scale with any other set. It looks good on own but next to other fairground sets it just makes them look to small (or this too big). Think twice before adding it to your theme park.
It doesn't work consistently. Even with the counterweight, the lift comes crashing down and after a few rides is enough to shake bricks loose at the top. Which is unfortunate as everything must be perfect for it to work (and even then it's hit or miss).
It's not quite up to the usual lego standard in my opinion. Feels like the design was rushed leading to scale issues and more functonality problems than all the other fairground sets combined.

Loop Coaster
I built this with my 10 year old Granddaughter. We would alternate bags and she did half of the build. She would stop building to play with the coaster at every addition of track. It is so important to be exact on this build, and everything pressed in completely. Our main problem was the lift and the cars exiting the lift at the top - the alignment was off, and the counterweight was slow. Manually operating the coaster you could nudge it into place, and manually nudge the counterweight, but add the motor and it was a disaster. Finally figured out the string at the top was not aligned correctly. The string was on the one slot of the wheel on the counterweight side, and on the opposite slot of the wheel on the elevator side. Once it was in the correct slot on both wheels it works perfectly with the motor - no issues. My grand daughter plays with this set more than any other set. It is her favourite. Just have to figure out where it will go, as it is so tall. I have to build an extension on our table.

Disappointed with reliability of build
After only a few times of using the motor with this set it started to stop functioning . The track no longer lines up when it reaches the top . We have rebuilt large parts of the set with no resolve of the issue. The lift section drops still with the carriage connected and then unceremoniously throws the carriage on the floor . We have all the fairground sets all powered . This is so frustrating after spending hours trying to correct the issues with no luck. The set looks great but when using the set repeatedly it just wants to rip its self apart. We spent a lot of money to get this set and was so lucking forward to it and we don’t like to bash lego as we are massive lego fans and collectors . But for us this set might have to be removed from our display until we can find a permanent fix for the ongoing issues .

Fun set but unclear packaging
I was really excited when I picked up this set for my household to work on, thinking it would make a great addition to an empty table in our hallway. While the build itself has been incredibly fun so far the experience has been soured somewhat by the fact that it was made incredibly unclear that the motorized parts are sold separately. No where on the box does it explicitly say this. You are simply meant to infer that information from a series of pictures that are followed by the words "Ready for Powered Up". What makes this worse beyond just an additional 80 dollars on top of the rather large, but justified, price tag is that one of these components currently aren't avaible on the website for a few months or at the store we're near.
Ultimately this is still a really great set, but I think it would be a good idea to actually say that the motorized parts are sold separately on the box itself.

Loved everything about this set, especially when compared to the previous Roller Coaster. Color scheme on point, the elevator concept is ingenuous, and the sound it makes when the carts are going through the loop.... remarkable.
Only blemish is that the elevator sometimes doesn't line up with the top of the track, and the carts get stuck. Needs some creative twisting of the elevator platform to fix the issue.

Good but needs constant adjustment
I enjoyed the build of this one, and the final product is both a great display piece and fun to operate. However, it's important to check the build each time you use it, as various connections will come loose, specifically on the tower itself. The first is at the very top, where the lift mechanism connects to the counterweight tower, and the second is the top-most horizontal bar connecting the lift to the tower proper. The good news is that - so far - these are the only two spots that seem to come loose, so it's an easy fix; moreover, once these connections are secured, the coaster works flawlessly. Not a super big deal, and given the stress put on these connections during operation, not surprising. That said, the coaster could be greatly improved with some stronger connections at these (and other?) stress points.

Great set! Amazing design! Fun to build! A+++
This is is definitely one of the most awesome sets I’ve ever bought. It is extremely well designed and has so many awesome features. I do wish they would have put some empty spots in the set to put the added accessories (bench, map, hotdog, balloon and pretzel vendors). The set is very sturdy. It can easily be carried from one table to another. There are some stickers, but not too many. There is some repetition, but not enough to bore you. The biggest flaw in this set would have to be the elevator. It took a bit of tweaking around and removing some of the chain pieces to get it to function perfectly. But the good news is that it works perfectly now. Overall, this set is definitely recommended to any theme park fan, especially if you have the Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Fairground Mixer and other Roller Coaster.

Lots of fun, some minor issues
First off, this set is such a beauty to behold. The color scheme and overall look of the ride is amazing. Some great building techniques, and amazing little details. Outside of waiting for a missing track piece to enjoy the complete ride, it is quite fun to play with.
The issues arise with the elevator. It is hard to adjust the elevator so the coaster leaves the elevator onto the track perfectly. There is a small gap which creates issues if everything is not properly calibrated. The chain has also broken a few times which is a little tedious to put back together.
Overall, an excellent set and addition to my collection of amusement park rides. As a roller coaster enthusiast, this is a must have and it did not disappoint.

In the rare instances where the cars get stuck, the fix is simple and quickly made. Low maintenance, beautiful, an engineering marvel. This is the one set to get 2022. Best LEGO Set EVER!!!
I love this set. The way they got everything to look how it looks, and how the even got the elevator to reset after it brings the coaster up is amazing beyond what I could think of. I would recommend this set 100/10 to everyone, it's just a wonderful showpiece and seeing it work is just as amazing. The yellow track really compliments the dark blue structure. I even made a video about this set with my brother on YouTube, and it's our most popular video on the channel. I love buying LEGO sets and look forward to buying more from them in the future.

This set is amazing. I loved the build. The roller coaster works perfect. All my parts fit together very well. The reason for four stars is, There was several mistakes in the instruction book ( can you find them)? Then I was missing two blocks and had one extra that the set did not use. Of course Lego made it right its just frustrating. I totally recomend this set!!

Loved this build, was really cool and was very interesting to see all the elements come together, especially the tower. My kids think it's awesome too! My only issues are that the mechanism that lifts the actual carts from the bottom to the top is always a fraction glitchy and could maybe have been designed with less gaps in tracks. Also the chain that takes the lift up is always sliding and not very smooth. The previous big coater had the same issue and even worse, also something that perhaps should be somehow modified. otherwise love it, build was too quick ;-)

Lots to Love with Loop
I only have two complaints about this otherwise fantastic set. There are so many interesting build techniques, and I wasn’t even sure how it was all going to come together, but by the next to last bag I started to see the magic and fun in this build. The experience goes by a little too quickly, which is my first complaint. The other involves how the coaster cars transition from the elevator, to back on the track. There’s a slight gap between the elevator and the coaster rails, so my cars kept missing the track on re-entry. It took me a lot of time fiddling with the counterweight and support columns to get the elevator/track to line up at an acceptable level. I haven’t had a chance to try out the Powered Up functions yet, but I feel like that automation will make this set shine as a display piece in my city. Kudos to the design team. Truly an engineering marvel.

Excellent engineering, satisfying build
If you thought the Haunted House was great ride engineering, wait until you see this. The vertical lift system is brilliant and remarkably reliable. The station is beautifully designed. Everything looks like it could be real. My only minor quibble is the use of stickers for a set this expensive. You also may have to invert the pins for the rubber band on the advance wheel, otherwise there isn't enough tension to keep it engaged.

I rarely write reviews but this is genuinely the best set I’ve built so far. The whole thing feels solid and works perfectly. The detail is just amazing and the use of a counter-weight using the same rails and coaster cars is genius. So much fun building this set.
