<span itemprop="description">It's not awful, it just falls short from the previous round of indiana jones sets. seems like little effort was put into it. nothing special in the set at all. the trap door added to the back of the set just makes no sense as an addition. even the amount of snakes given in the set is greatly lacking. no printed bricks, lots of stickers. since i loved the previous indiana jones sets, i think this is just overall not a good build.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a really fun set, and the minfigs are great, but there are not enough snakes! There needs to be like 3x the snakes. There are 4 dk blue snakes, 3 dk green snakes and 2 dk green half snakes. I'll be ordering more snakes with a greater variety from a parts store.
Okay, other good things. There's a fun Easter egg from Star Wars and the moving parts are fun to build and play with. The snake shoot is fun. Could probably have another zombie or two, but I mean that's a minfig compared to snakes, and I'd rather have more snakes. Seriously people, it needs more snakes.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Okay, I am a DIE HARD Indiana Jones fan since I was 6. I have all of the original LEGO sets from 2008-2009, and even many duplicates of them. I even have an entire replica of Indiana Jones’s outfit! With that being said, this set is fantastic! The pictures do not do it justice. When you have this thing in front of you, it look a lot bigger and deeper than it looks, leaving you with the feel that this thing is actually underground. With the 2008 version, the set in its entirety looks more like an alter for the Ark instead of an actual tomb. Also, the way the statue topples through the wall works and looks way better than it’s predecessor. And don’t even get me started on Minifigures. The updated figures are great, and the inclusion of Sallah is something all fans of LEGO Indiana Jones have wanted for 14 years now. Now let’s talk about value, this set and its counterpart “Fighter Plane Chase” probably have the best value for your money that we’ve received so far this decade. It’s not overpriced for a change and a worthwhile set to get. Thank you LEGO for making this set and please, listen to all us fans and DO NOT DISCONTINUE LEGO INDIANA JONES!</span>

<span itemprop="description">It is wonderful Lego has brought back the Indiana Jones theme. It is sad they didn’t do much advertising before release, even on the site, but it is what it is. Escape from the Lost Tomb makes for a great playset, and is even good for display. The price per piece is very fair (FINALLY), but I fear Lego will hike up these prices once they see how well the theme actually does. The minifigures are great as well. At first, I was not a fan of the hat/hair piece, as I believe a hat and hair piece should be separate pieces, but it has grown on me. It is wonderful they included the R2 and C-3PO easter eggs, as they should have. However I feel the other stickered easter eggs they included took away from R2 and 3PO easter egg. The main complaint I have about the set is the Ark. It looks horrendous and honestly the old one looks much better. Other than that, it is a good set for a fair price, and am thrilled Indiana Jones is finally back. Hopefully the Temple of Doom will make its appearance.</span>
