But the few times you work on the stand are great and the land you put on the globe save this build, as well as the final product. The final product spins, and is even a good piece to use as decoration and you can be proud of yourself for completing it. But I did postpone completing this set many times which I rarely do.</span>

My grandson (age 5) and I built it together.
It was rather repetitious which made it easier to build but was also a little boring.
The most disappointing part was that when my grandson (who is very careful with things like this) was turning The Globe and it started falling apart. Was quite the challenge to get it back together and then putting it on the stand which was hard even from the beginning. We did get it back together but now are afraid to touch it :(
The other thing that was disappointing was the "glow in the dark" signs. We have yet to see them glow and we've had it finished for months.</span>

<span itemprop="description">It takes a lot to build this. The globe sections are repetitive. You build four wedge shaped pieces in two pairs. The each piece has land added to it before being added to the equator ring. The main problem is the some of the flat pieces don't stay on the backing piece. In the end I had to apply sticky tape on the backs of three pieces to fix them on the globe.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Quand on regarde le set de loin il est vraiment sympa les continents sont assez fidèles, le volume est intéressant, les couleurs bien choisies mais lorsqu'on s'approche de plus près on se rend compte que tout n'est pas parfait. L'Europe ne ressemble à rien, l"espace entre les briques est trop important. Même si le créateur a réussi à faire un globe assez "sphérique", cet espace gêne encore plus à s'imaginer des pays et des continents. Quant au montage, attendez vous à quelque chose de très répétitif, il y a 2 "supports" que vous allez faire 20x chacun. J'ai eu la "chance" d'avoir un peu d'action durant le montage, j'ai cherché pendant 10 minutes une pièce, qui est en fait bien présente mais de la mauvaise couleur (marron clair au lieu de bleu pour l'océan, une première pour moi).</span>

It took hours but nothing to difficult. It makes a great decoration too! You obviously can’t play with it since it’s a globe, not a toy, but it was still fun building it. It spins well, too. My one criticism however, is that the stand was a great section to build, but the next sections were pretty monotonous, and the same, with the exception of the countries. - that aside though, it was still enjoyable.

The globe is an interesting idea and the end product is nice, it will go in my university office for students to see. <span itemprop="description">I love the idea, it's well presented and looks amazing on the shelf. The issue is the execution of the build itself, the Lego team after it was accepted as a Lego Idea should have done more to not make it extremely flimsy and wobbly. It held together very poorly which means I'm scared to even hold it s the globe pieces are held together using only two grippers meaning they ping off easily and the globe feels very fragile as its essentially held together by a ring in the middle and very thin arms pocking out from it. The globe 'frame' also wobbles far too easily and fell apart twice whilst trying to build it. It's very top-heavy as the base is extremely small and light compared to the globe. I wish the Lego Team made more of an effort with this Lego Idea.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The building experience was very good, but I noticed a problem. the building is not stable in it's higher and downer part where the pincers are connecting to the ring. When I was trying to put the white piece of the south and north pole, the pincers just kept falling off. It was pretty annoying and I'd love you to try to fix this. except that, this lego set is awesome and was very fun to build.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Was a good build. I didn't know what to expect but it was good to build. It was worth the money paid. It was definitely a different approach to building Legos. It would definitely be a good build for someone into globes and geographics and map making. Good job.</span>

Lego didn’t miss the islands! It was cool to look for them in the globe.
I think one of the most challenging parts was building the center of the sphere. It looked amazing when seeing the inside.
I think it’s worth it and its a super cool set to have displayed at your home.</span>
