<span itemprop="description">I bought this set as an addition to the castle we have. Very pleased with it. My grandson enjoys building, and quickly took over. The detail is extraordinary. The information on the designers in the book was an added bonus. It is quite the set. If you enjoy castle/medieval sets, this would be a good set to purchase. Access to all 3 levels of the house makes it good for play value.

<span itemprop="description">Great build with levels of detail I have not seen before in a lego set. Hats off to the fan designer and the designers at LEGO! The 3 floors disconnect fairly easily and use their space to the maximum. Nothing is wasted in this build in my opinion. I 100% recommend it.
I only have one criticism of this set and it's about the roof. The roof has 2 side panels that are supposed to slide off, but the side with the chimney and window in the middle makes it really hard to remove the roof panel without also taking off the chimney and window with it. So I just only remove the other panel when I want to see inside...</span>

<span itemprop="description">The blacksmith workshop set is a well put together piece that has play and display in mind. The building experience was fantastic. There are some really unique building techniques that the designers employed to make for a very life like feeling set when you look at it. Also while building I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic to when I was kid playing with my uncles old lego castle sets from the 80’s. This set has a great mix of old and new. I would recommend this set to collectors/hobbyist looking for a trip down memory lane or to parents looking for a great gift for their kid who is into the medieval era. All three levels of the build come apart easy to allow for access inside. It also looks great as a display piece on my shelf as one unit. Either way it is a set I would recommend picking up before it retires.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I added this to my collection and it is a more difficult build. But I do not have a lot of experience with buildings and being a blacksmith was the interest. Overall I would give it 4 out of 5. The two areas that I did not like with this build was the tree and instructions. The tree was very fragile, and bump and it fell apart. I took it apart and reread instructions and it was the same result. The instructions were clear up to the roof. The colors were hard to figure out which shade of blue.
It looks great, but if you had a child wanting to play with it, it's not that type of set, and carefully showing off to people, the tree is not coming back. Blacksmith cut it down lol.
I do not have it on display, but that it is it did not fit into my other themes and it will be going to my mother's house she loves the look.
The fire light is a great add with the build everyone loves it. Several people I have shown it to, have bought it.
The details are amazing, it just doesn't fit with cars, space and star wars. Can't drive a Lamborghini to the blacksmith, he doesn't have the right tools.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Given that prices are about to go up, it’s a good time for me to add GET THIS SET, if you are thinking about it at all. THE SET looks perhaps even better/bigger in real life. It feels to me like one of the most complete and architecturally and proportionally correct/pleasing sets, and display so well from all sides. Personal favourite is the staircase porch/columns area. Though I dislike the tree (the janky look, a bit flimsy), even if i were to remove the tree entirely from the set, it’s still a 5/5. THE BUILD is fantastic with a ton of details, with the workshop being the most fun. MINI-FIGS are good, but I feel at least one (a kid?) or two (another villager or soldier?) will be nice? THE VALUE is really quite good, esp. if you compare it to some of the sets lego have been pumping out. OVERALL some of the small negative points (like there are some small holes in the walls around the joints) are really notable only because how good the rest of the set is…… it might be my favourite sets that I own. So if you are really considering, I say go for it! **A quality control item – in this set I was noticing obvious white nub marks that I constantly had to find the right angle to place the bricks so I don’t see it – most people are not going to care, but for some of us that do, it will be nice for Lego to fix this issue. I mean we are paying good (and even more soon) money for it.</span>

There are more than enough pieces for anyone to create an entirely new object if you let them. Good product! More products with a good replay value like this should be produced.</span>
