<span itemprop="description">I have completed many Lego sets (over 75) from the colosseum to the Eiffel Tower etc. I found this the most frustrating set I have ever constructed. There was very little support pieces. I’ve read about those ‘little blue pieces’ in the bow. (I ended up using museum wax to hold them.) I found the whole kit hard to put together. Any pressure you used to connect pieces would cause other pieces to come apart. I normally let my 5 year old grandson to look, touch and ask questions. Not with this piece. Too fragile. P.S. I loved the movie</span>

<span itemprop="description">I am not a fan of how the Orca fits together- the front pieces fall off very easily and the mast is not sturdy enough to stand upright if the guidelines are tied without a ton of slack. “Bruce” is very difficult to remove from the display base (I have not tried to remove him from the main display yet). It’s a cute set but cannot be handled at all.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I question some of the build sequence and a weakness in building the hull. Why are steps 158-160 after the mast is installed, should be before. Why isn’t step 156 closer to the final builds.
The build between step 85 and 114 was made difficult because the part added in step 85 is too fragile. It took me about 45 minutes to add the side pieces to the bow because the part in step 85, which is a support piece, kept coming undone</span>

<span itemprop="description">I don't normally complain about builds, but the engineering on the bow is substandard. There's a Reddit thread discussing this problem. It holds together just barely, after hours of rebuilding the section over and over. Then you have to connect the bow to the rest of the ship. Again, just barely any pressure breaks pieces internally in the bow. (Those blue pieces are the worst!!!) This set is not for ANY play. Build it, set it high on a shelf, and walk away.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really enjoyed building this set while watching the movie except for part of the ship that kept falling apart while I was building it. It still doesn’t sit quite right and I’m not going to mess with it anymore. I’m afraid I’ll break the whole thing up but the overall set looks very good. I won’t display my pic of Bruce and Quint, which might seen by some to be in very bad taste.</span>
