<span itemprop="description">I was excited to get this set. I love the Shark and was enjoying the build until I hit the bow section. The blue curved pieces easily come up when pressure is applied to add the longer sides on. It seems like a lot of the front is held in by one stud and easily comes apart. I rebuilt the bow early on but heard a part loose after I rebuilt it. I struggled on. I got to the end and finished the build, just for the bow to break apart. I’ve tried rebuilding it and simply cannot get the pieces to stay snug. This may be the first set I give up on, as it is not an enjoyable experience at this point.</span>

Sadly the bow of the boat (specifically the light blue pieces) constantly dismantle and subsequently implode. Rebuilt the bow 4 times yet it keeps falling apart. Tried some homemade engineering to solve the design but there’s not not enough room to fix it. Reddit suggests I’m far from alone. Sad, it took the shine off this otherwise fantastic idea.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I fell into LEGO fast and hard over the last 20 months- having gone from zero sets to 30 in that time period.
Each has provided me with an immense amount of joy (despite occasional moments of frustration when running into a provierbial “brick wall”). This is the first set that I was truly disappointed by.
The idea is fun and campy, but the execution is poor. I found several of the elements to not really fit well together or that the small pieces got in the way.
And then add the whole aspect of compiling the boat on the ocean foundation at a weird angle and then questionable decision of building the whole shark only to rip him in half (is there a thoughtful way to display the literal “tail end” of a demonic sea monster?) just didn’t seemed well thought out.
It suffered because I’ve come to know Lego as a maker of wonderfully whimsically and thoughtfully designed sets. Unfortunately this one sunk to the bottom of the ocean.</span>

The shark itself is amazing. It can be its own stand alone full body model or modified to be coming out of the water to attack the boat.</span>

The mini figures really capture the true feel of this famous Summer Blockbuster and make the playability enjoyable. If there's one element I would impove, it would be the Anti-Shark Cage. 4 walls with a top and bottom would have put this set over the top with me! Other than that this set ranks near the top in my brick building history...Kudos to all who had a hand in bringing this JAWSOME set to fruition!!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I’ve been a fan of Jaws ever since my parents wouldn’t let me watch it, back in the 70s. So, as soon as my daughter spotted the release date, I marked my calendar. When it arrived, it came in a cool-looking box in excellent condition. Upon unboxing, I went through everything and opened the package containing the book. This book was a bit different; once opened, it was clear something was wrong with the binding. The first third was quite wrinkly, and the pages felt like they might rip if opened too wide. Additionally, I couldn’t find the decal sheet, which was unfortunately crinkled up at the bottom of the book’s packaging.
I contacted LEGO about the issues, and as usual, they were more than happy to make things right. I received the replacements a little over a week later.
Now, for the build.
Wow. I’m just blown away by the attention to detail in this set. Decals are limited to instrument panels, bow ID, book cover, and map—nothing too challenging. There were no missing pieces and very few extras.
You have to pay special attention while assembling the bow. The two halves are only held together by a couple of spots at either end, and if you apply too much pressure, you can dislodge one of the pieces, causing it to fall loose inside and requiring you to disassemble several pieces to fix it. If you use an approved adhesive, I suspect this won’t be an issue.
The “ropes” included are taped up like tiny cords, and when you straighten them out, they’re in no condition to place on the boat. I hung them, weighted them to straighten, added a bit of mousse, and dried them with a blow dryer. It worked perfectly.
Despite these minor issues, I still give it a 5 because LEGO is just so great to deal with.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Un splendide set qui trouvera sa place dans le salon de tout amateur de cinéma (et de Lego évidemment). Les trois minifigurines représentent parfaitement les personnages principaux du film, et le set contient pléthore de références qui font mouche.
J'apprécie particulièrement la mise en scène sur le socle, avec le bateau et l'eau qui débordent, donnant un bel effet "action". Le requin est très bien fait alors que je n'étais pas convaincu par les photos.
Si le produit final est superbe, l'expérience n'est pas parfaite pour autant. L'avant de la coque reste assez fragile, et je doute que le bateau survive à une session de jeu (c'est raccord avec le film ceci dit ;) ). Quelques choix de montage sont étonnants (comme finir le dessous après avoir construit le mât), et bien sûr il y a une poignée d'autocollants à coller.
De menus impairs qui ne pèsent pas bien lourd une fois la construction terminée et le set exposé. J'adore.</span>

The horrible little blue piece that basically holds the bow together breaks every-time , We had to take apart about 20 times trying to keep it together. Terrible design , this one needs to get pulled bc it’s a definite flaw ! Do your sanity a favor and do not buy this set !</span>

<span itemprop="description">So i LOVE lego and just designing/building in general...ive won mannnnny awards for my builds....so being a veteran and can say that in all my mannnnny years building this is the first set to ever disappoint me....its a great set but gets ruined by poor structural design and pieces that dont quit fit firm like lego should...the whole front of the boat was a hot mess of kinda sorta together but barely and the idea of lets put all this flimsy stuff on, like a 12 inch pole etc and then have to flip it over....poooor build order/poor design and cruddy piece fit destroyed and enjoyment in building this set.....even the build the shark only to take half off later...why not have the option like the delorian??? ...000000 structual integrity....disappointed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall a fun build, great display model, and adaptable for play, so great all round. Some very interesting ways the model goes together. Getting the ropes exactly the right tension is quite a feat.</span>
