I dismantled the top levels down and left the more solid bases and the mini figures and now it is a fave play set. A lot of Lego dinosaurs are drinking the poison water! The taller mini fig of jack is perfect as well as the mayor was creative , though I will say I struggled with his feet pegs they confused me so he is trying his best , I will say jacks roof I struggled with and can&rsquo;t get it to sit right and will have to play with it more later . Some details were weird to build and I don&rsquo;t inks if it was me or the instructions but some angles in these books are odd , the moon is a cool part as well . I do wish it came with oogie boogie or give jack a Santa suit outfit he could change into as it is another famous look of his . Maybe a future set of the gambling ring of oogie would be cool . I think overall it&rsquo;s a great set and worth it good display . In this day and age when families struggle to bond with their teens and tweens with screens as a barrier, the best suggestion I have is to get an intricate Lego set and work on it together. The instructions are easy enough for our youngest and clear enough for mom who hasn't played with Legos in over 25 years. With each page you turn through the manual, you feel like you are accomplishing quite the task, but it's so much fun! Once the box is conquered, you're left with a beautiful piece of - dare I say - ART to display with pride. I see now why these big sets are worth every penny. This is a gorgeous diorama of Halloween Town complete with all of its beloved characters. My kids, my husband and I all love to admire our work on this one and we made memories building it as a team. When I saw it, I knew immediately that I wanted it. This set is great, with the 3 iconic locations from the movie. The characters had lots of detail, especially The Mayor. I didn't like how flimsy the roofs are and how the moon on spiral hill was cardboard.
