<span itemprop="description">I absolutely loved building this set and placing it on display in my home. First, I love the building process where you can give one instruction booklet to yourself and another to someone else who may want to build with you especially if it's their first time. I love the variety of flora and fauna you build and the multi-usage you can get out of it by placing the cabin on its own and the trees together or combine them. I also really love how open ended the lego minifigures with the set are. You can mix and match hair pieces, heads, bodies, and torsos to make the characters as you'd like. The amount of props and little items you build inside the cabin also provides multiple possibilities of what you could do with the setting. If you have never purchase a Lego Ideas set or not sure if the price tag is worth it, I guarantee this will be one of the best Lego sets you will purchase.</span>

I did use my leftover compass from this set and my treehouse to use as the front of house lighting fixtures. This set will be so fun to add different themes too all year round. <span itemprop="description">It was a very good building experience and there are so many details in the cabin. I love the minifigures and how you can take off the roof (like many Lego buildings). However, when I was building I ordered some 1x6 light brown flat plates because I thought that you forgot to put them in. But I made a mistake in the instruction booklet and now I have two extra 1x6 light brown plates. Honestly a very good lego set, do recommend. I think Lego should make more cabins sometime.</span>

<span itemprop="description">There is so much design and off-the-grid comforts, as I continued building, I found myself continuously thinking, “I want to move here, or at least make this my vacation home”. I believe that this is the first time that a designer has created a bed wide enough for two MiniFigs (Full or Queen, rather than single or double). You really have to look closely at all the furniture pieces before you draw back to look at the woody exterior of the cabin, which by the way, is very convincing. And the colors of the trees! Some of best tree designs applied to any LEGO project.
After all these accolodes, it would be difficult to imagine that the designers failed with a “you got to kidding me!” Design of the roof connections. Their solution: You build two disconnected panels, hang them separately from the top and hope they dont slip and fall. If you believe that then there’s African prince with 20million USD to give you if just send them you bank account information.
Anyways, There are many inexpensive methods to connect the two panels so that they operate the way we all throught they would. In my photo stream, I show one cheap method that works OK. All in all, great set, I’m already packing</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a beautiful set with a lot of detail inside and out. I changed two things. I ordered a few pieces and doubled up on how many branches and leaves there were. I also played with the angle of the branches to make it more full. I am happy with the look up close and far away now.
I also lifted up some of the tiles on the roof to give it texture but had to do this during the building phase as it's difficult to modify after the fact.</span>

<span itemprop="description">First, I'll review the set itself - The set itself is a great set, and a fairly easy build. I love the details that went into this, and I love how the roof detaches without having to unclick a brick, rather just unhook it to look inside and re-hook it on when you're done. The trees are great with all the details, and the whole thing is just an amazing idea all around.
The not so good part – LEGO’s quality control has been absolutely terrible as of late. Whoever is in charge of the department needs to get it together. I have never seen such bad quality control from a company I loved so much as a child. I collected LEGO from 2005 to 2010 as a kid, and not once did I ever receive a set with a missing piece, bad instruction, or misprint. This set had a missing piece – Although not a critical piece, still an annoyance. I had over 100 useless spare parts from the set, but not the one I needed for the log shack… LEGO is charging more and more for each set, and frankly it’s ridiculous they can’t at least make sure all the pieces are included. This isn’t the first set I’ve bought this year that had something wrong with it either.
Don’t let this factory error keep you from buying the set, it’s a great set. LEGO’s quality control just needs to be much better than it is now.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a very cute building and fun to build. However, it is very unstable. The roof does not hook onto anything. it just lays against the building. The two sides of the roof do not match as they do in the picture, which is frustrating. The slightest move makes the roof fall. The two sides where the trees are also do not hook tightly against the building and can easily fall. Very disappointed. The reason it gets as high of a rating is because it's so cute.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I picked this up after I was given the succulents set as a Christmas gift. This made for a fun build. I loved all the little detailing, like the hidden critters and clever use of hammers. It's made for an excellent addition to my collection and plant display. Hopefully soon I'll be able to set up a proper display for my burgeoning collection.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have this in a display with the speed champions ford bronco. It looks fantastic and I'm super happy with the finished set.
Only things bringing it down: some of the instruction pages were blurry and misprinted, and many of the colors were hard to distinguish on all the pages, not just the blurred ones - for example the yellow vs gold leaves. Others just don't match the real-life piece color. I've found the color issue on a few sets now.</span>
