My favorites include the Green Grocer and the Detective Office. In my opinion Tudor Corner gets the chef&rsquo;s kiss. The sturdiness of the build, the off-parallel front (as an archaeological detail), the ingenious clock shop, English color palette, and compact footprint were much appreciated. But I was delighted with the cleverness that yielded the half-timbering. A number of the pieces in this set were new to me: the 2/3 brick, the five-stud plate, and the cutout decorative tile. All seemed smart additions to the Lego inventory, not just for this set. The instructions were clear for element placement and the 3D Builder app was a new and interesting tool to use. I have a couple of comments to make: I ran into an issue with element colors or it may have been an issue with the instructions. I had a couple of steps that called for multiple uses of the same 2X1 plate in white, but there was a shortage of that color by one piece, however I had a spare in the same bag in the light grey color. I went back over the instructions to make sure I hadn't used the wrong color but couldn't locate any error. Maybe it was an error with the instructions? Not a huge gripe, just pointing it out for QA purposes. Other than my one issue, this was an awesome build and looks great on my shelf. For such a premium product at the price point it is, you'd expect consistency of colour for the bricks but its just not the case here.
