But I absolutely hate this build. I am so frustrated now. I was trying to learn how to transform Bumblebee and was following along in the video on the app. For 1, you can&rsquo;t pause and rewind the video on the app. But as I was transforming the build, it broke apart. It went flying across the floor on my kitchen. This is an absolute disaster. I am frustrated and am going to put these pieces in a bag to try and reassemble at a later time. I wish I could return the set. Part of the fun as a child was the transformation of the car or plane or whatever into a robot. But this transformation, should not be like this. Lego should have gone back to the drawing board on this before releasing this set. I know a lot of folks have enjoyed this build. Having already built Optimus Prime I was happy to see that there would be more characters added to the line up. I have been building with Lego for years and already have many Lego sets built and on display in my home. Bumblebee is such a beloved character and would make a great addition to my growing collection. Unfortunately the end results failed to live up to the high bar that Lego has set thru the years. Building Bumblebee wasn't a problem, it was when I tried to transform him that the problems with the design showed up. I had pieces falling off of him as I followed the instructions on how to convert him to robot mode. I decided to check online to see if anybody else was having the same problems. I watched videos and read reviews and saw that others were having some of the same problems I was. I then, with the knowledge gained from my research decided to take Bumblebee apart piece by piece and rebuild him to see if it was user error. After rebuilding him I came to find out that the same problem of pieces falling off during transformation persisted. I am now reluctant to transform Bumblebee which defeats one of the joys of having this set. It seems like Bumblebee was designed with too many pieces, especially small pieces that are not really reinforced by the design. Hopefully the continue this collaboration with other characters like Grimlock, Megatron and Starscream. Starting at the front of the vehicle mode and building your way to the back of the car you can slowly see Bee take his iconic VW Bugg appearance with little easter eggs that I won't spoil here. Then at the end, you have the option to either leave him there in that form or &quot;Transform&quot; him converting him into the brave yellow bot we all remember without having to take the model apart. Lego has knocked this one out of the part as they also did with the Optimus Prime set.
