However, a small issue I encountered is that the stickers are all bent by the three large instruction booklets and left behind creases. It would be awesome if stickers could be placed in a separate rigid envelope.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was a toddler when the LotR movies (and the original Lego sets) came out, so I had all but given up hope that I would ever get to buy a Lego set for one of my favorite stories of all time. Even with how excited I was, however, this set still blew me away. The absolutely gorgeous colors, new molds-hi, fern :)-, stunning artwork on the tastefully used stickers, and sophisticated build techniques gave me genuine joy while building this (just like I get when I sit down with a mug of hot cocoa to watch the extended editions for the 27th time). The multiple instruction booklets let me and my sister build it together, and we had so much fun discovering all the little easter eggs in the set and the trivia in the instructions. Thank you thank you thank you for a truly memorable experience and a gorgeous display piece.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love Lord of the Rings. Nearly cried when I found out that Lego was creating a Rivendell set. And what a set it was! It’s beautiful, a real show stopper. People who come over and see it (even people who don’t “get” being an adult and enjoying Lego) are impressed. It’s a large build and requires a large surface to be displayed, but if it was any smaller, it would be lacking. I hope Lego continues to create Lord of the Rings sets—hopefully smaller sets to allow for Middle Earth expansions and more options.
For anyone who is curious, it took me 14 hours and 23 minutes to complete this build. I took my time and savored every step.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I am a huge fan of the LOTR movies, so when I saw this set, I had to have it, even though I had never built an ‘adult’Lego set before. Instructions were easy to follow, and I just worked a little here and there. It came together beautifully and the details are so fun. I now have it on display, and have become a real Lego-maniac! Have built many things since this, but none as challenging. Enjoyable to build and great to look at and love the mini-figs for recreating scenes. If you love the movies, you’ll love this build.</span>

But in my 40+ years of deeply loving Lego and amassing a fairly carefully-curated collection, this is the absolute definition of "lighting-in-a-bottle" magic for me. It is an art piece. When I first saw previews of it, my jaw fell to the floor. I've wanted certain sets before, but I have never WANTED a set this badly. When it arrived, I was in heaven for days. The designers obviously poured all their love and reverence for LOTR (both the work of Tolkien itself and Jackson's ground-breaking Fellowship film) and vast knowledge of sculpting in the Lego medium to create this masterpiece. Honestly I got emotional assembling it. To see this as an official set, accessible to normal human fans, is an incredible joy. Well done Lego. You have my axe.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Set que je viens de terminer avec énormément de plaisir mais aussi de regret... d'avoir déjà fini.
Moi qui suis fan de l'univers de Tolkien, les détails sont là et on peut reproduire de nombreuses scènes du film. Les couleurs sont sublimes, mention spécial pour Gimli et son casque que je trouve superbe !!
Je recommande vraiment ce set ^^</span>

<span itemprop="description">As an avid LOTR fan, I could not help but buy this set when I saw it in the lego store. It took me quite a while to build, with some amazing SNOT techniques and ingenious designs. I had to reorganize my room just to find space for it! I am praying that this is just the first of many set released in the chain, which I would be the purchaser of many.</span>
