<span itemprop="description">Be very careful. I have great attention to detail but there was nothing until so far in that called out the detail on sides of the bricks that highlight for you to know which side faces inside. Unfortunately had to rebuild major parts of the set completely due to this.
I was super excited to have seen this somewhere and bought it, what with the SO MANY unique details that speak to me as a person too, and I’m still glad I did, but the build experience definitely brought the joy of the set way down for me. I would strongly recommend the designers be thinking of key details that need input to the instructions as if they were a customer building it, and if they do, then just please take this as strong, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback. Thank you, Lego!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a great set. Pay no attention to the 1 star reviewers. It's currently on sale for 40% off and I purchased multiples for the castle bricks alone. There are a lot unique pieces and some motion mechanic pieces which the other "apartment" sets lack. I have never seen the new show but loved the first iteration back in the aughts. Comes with 7 mini figs AND A MULLET but with parts enough to build 2 more (need heads) or 3 more (needs legs). I really enjoyed building this set and I think any fan of LEGO will too.</span>

My only problem with it was once I got the minifigures into the "reveal room", I couldn't get them out again, with taking that whole area apart.</span>

We both love all the variety of accessories, pieces and furniture this set came with! So many outfits and haircuts we can add to our characters and collection. We both loved the fridge, stove top, and cappuccino maker! We love how we can incorporate it all into our story plays.. we might even turn this set into two, because there are so many lego that come with it so you can easily create two different buildings. I bought this set for me because it's so stylish and modern which my son kinda rolled his eyes about until he actually opened the box and saw it in person and he helped build most of it. His character now lives in this "penthouse" apartment building for our game. Well worth it for us!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was the first large set I've built, so I was a little curious how something with so many details would be to assemble. But I found it easy to manage with numbered bags and a flow of building different pieces of furniture in sections of the loft so it was easy to take breaks and see the final product come together section by section. The end result is a dollhouse with many interactive parts. There's lots of little references to the show as well, from Antoni's reliance on avocados to their pet dog from the earlier seasons. I thought the interactive "transformation chamber" was fun to play with, as are the interactive furniture pieces and many customizable clothing and hair options you can swap out. Even if you're not familiar with the show I think anyone would appreciate how the attention to detail in this set is out of this world (the manual has commentary from the Fab 5 and it says Bobby was involved with designing the set--no surprise there). It was also cool to see Lego branch out to supporting a queer property. Would love to see Drag Race next!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I haven’t built Lego since I was a child but decided to buy the Fab Five Loft for my wife as a wedding anniversary gift. We’re both huge fans of the show so she - a Lego virgin - was super happy and excited to build it together. And it didn’t disappoint. From start to finish the attention to detail is absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t stop laughing all the way through it’s construction. The final product is just incredible and there’s enough interactive features for us to enjoy looking and playing with it when it is on display. Our only disappointment is that the build didn’t take longer - that’s not a criticism but testament to how much we enjoyed it. A highly recommended set - and we might just buy some more Lego!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Never watched the show but I was attracted to this set because of the use of colours and detail (particularly the plants). I enjoyed building it. The end product is amazing I love the grey and white colours, there is a lot of detail and a playability features. The mini figures are great; the clothes, their hair are a very much like the actual characters from the show! I added a couple of lights to it which makes it more beautiful. It’s worth every penny! Love it!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Whether watchers of the show, or avid lego collectors, this is a great set for all lego fans. It has great parts and exceptional printing. Great for LGBTQ+ sig figs, or for figs in your lego city, would definitely recommend.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I had a lot of fun building this set. It’s got great details, clever takes on modernist design and, of course, fantastic Minifigures.
Anyone who has seen the show even once will recognize immediately how well the minifigs capture the “fab five” in both visual look and expression. Tan and Jonathan are obvious standouts but even the guys who are less visually distinctive are somehow rendered perfectly.
The loft itself makes for a nice build, too. It’s true that it’s a pretty straightforward series of rectangles, but it’s also a take on a modernist loft style apartment that we don’t often see at this skill level, and I had more fun with it than expected. The furniture especially included a lot of clever part combinations that I wouldn’t have thought of myself, which will definitely inspire future creations. I also appreciate specific nods to the show like the appearance of the ubiquitous avocado, as well as the inclusion of the dog and the makeover “guest.”
There are a couple things I don’t love about this set. There are a lot of stickers, which I would be more annoyed about if they weren’t so clever. I also don’t love furniture that isn’t connected to the floor and can jostle around, and there are couple instances of that here. Neither of these are bad enough to knock even a full star off my rating, though. I think the most negative reviews of this set are by users who have not seen the show or actively dislike it, and as such can be easily disregarded if you are at all considering this build.
I haven’t seen every episode of “Queer Eye” but each one I have seen touts the importance of creativity, inclusivity and positivity. I think in this way the show and LEGO are perfectly aligned. Some of the cast are even quoted in the instruction booklet acknowledging how important LEGO was to them as kids. I appreciate that this gave me something constructive to think about while I was also having fun building.</span>
