<span itemprop="description">I have found the build experience with this set not as fun as I’d hoped. I collect all these types of LEGO vehicle sets and this would have to be one of the worst to build. Alongside the original VW Kombi.
The LEGO designer should really consider the building experience better as it has been lost with a lot of these types of sets.</span>

I prefer to display mine without the top and flat wheel covers - the six dot white hubs are dimensional and sportier. Silver bumpers and grille would look better (like the silver engine cleaner cover). Love the opening panels and details galore. The set was fun and easy to build using the LEGO app.</span>

I know there are only so many ways to build the chassis on these cars but the rest of it was meh. There weren't any interesting sections or build techniques on this model and there's an ugly gap between the door/rear/top. Overall I'm disappointed in this set because the overall build wasn't enjoyable.</span>

I was hoping it would take him longer, to give him activities to do! Will look at more but they are expensive. Ever go on sale? He wanted the larger model cars.</span>

<span itemprop="description">First off, I LOVE classic cars. I’ve even got a couple myself with a couple more on the way! This set is absolutely amazing, my girlfriend got it for me for Christmas and I built it the very next day. It’s large and very detailed which I can personally appreciate. This has to be one of my all-time favorite sets! The color and shape are really spot-on, especially for Lego.
If you know your car history, you’ll know that the Ford Thunderbird (Tbird) came out the year after (in 1955) and went on to outsell the Corvette 6 to 1 and even 9 to 1 in certain cases. I mention this because the first-gen Tbird is a lot like this Corvette, it’s a 2-seater coupe and everything. I have a 3rd-gen Tbird (a 1963) and I think it would be amazing if Lego continued making classic cars!
With how absolutely amazing this set is, I really want to see Lego put out a Tbird, and they can even do a few colors like white, black, blue and pink. In fact, my girlfriend’s dream car is a pink ‘57 Tbird.. maybe I can return the gesture!
Over all this set is a 12/10 for me. I absolutely LOVE the engine details too. If you’ve got a classic car like I do, you’ll spend a lot of time in the engine bay LOL!</span>
