There were a number of places where I struggled with the instructions and being able to tell what piece actually went where - that led to a number of re-dos which are never fun. The end display is really pretty, but the letter was a huge challenge to snap into place. Every time I tried a piece broke off and I am not sure what I have ended up with is correct as there is a gap between the 2nd and bottom piece of the letter which doesn't look great. The wand is a little boxy for me, and the reviews comparing the scarf to a McD's french fry box - spot on - and I have to imagine that simply using gold and maroon pieces instead of the bright red and yellow would have solved that (I have felt that about a bunch of the HP sets when it comes to the Gryffindor colors). I will also note that I am not sure Hedwig's wings are on exactly correct but in the end I am not sure it matters either. I am also not sure why lego didn't use a clear piece to attach the snitch and I am surprised that the glasses don't attach somewhere (although I like where I managed to sit them). But - despite that - I love the books, the Felix bottle and Hedwig is just beautiful. The frog is cute and the display for the golden figurines is a must if you are like me - and like to display the sets without much &quot;DIY&quot;/&quot;MOC&quot; worked in. I like the sets the way lego intends. Although I also had some issues with that little display and connecting them. The base is basically attached at two points on each corner. Every time I move the model it broke on me. I got all the way to bag 16 of 22 and it completely collapsed on me. I literally had to take it all the way down so I could fix it. When I build it back I will (gasp!) glue it because it isn&rsquo;t stable by itself. I can&rsquo;t believe Lego put out such an unstable build. The details and build techniques are pretty cool, which is why this got two stars instead of one. Lego I know you can do better!
