There is no denying this is an absolutely spectacular rendition of the Hogwarts Express. It's definitely a display item, if you want a train that runs on lego tracks, go buy a LEGO City model. This set is spectacular and is perfect for any avid Harry Potter fan. So fun to build. 5/5 stars!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was so excited for this that I didn't think to read too many of the details. My mistake. It's not motorized at all. And it isn't compatible with normal tracks. Which wouldn't be that bad if you could at least get a set to build more track. This would be amazing around the Christmas tree! But I guess that is why it isn't motorized. With out any more track, it's not going any where any ways.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Looks spectacular, but i feel they have ignored a large portion of train enthusiasts but not designing it with the intent for motorised play or integration with their rail tracks. Just to reiterate - this does not work on standard rails, its for display not play. Also the price along with the recent "price adjustment" store wide is a little steep. Good bye 90 years of play and hello to the next 90 years of pay.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This set does look good as a *cough* FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR display piece, I can’t deny - but the fact that it is so oversized, not track compatible, etc. is so irredeemably disappointing. This set comes with many minifigures but for what reason? The train is practically the height of a 2 story building compared to them. Even custom modifications can’t save that aspect. My worry now is that if this set does poorly, future train sets may be questioned due to falsely perceived lack of interest.</span>
