I love little creatures that come with it, Buckbeak, baby Thestral, and Pixie are adorable. Spider, mushrooms, and Ron's lantern are glow in the dark, which is a really nice touch. It also has an easter egg- chicken leg that we could see in the movie in the scene of Harry and Luna feeding Thestrals. You can use this set on its own or connect to other lego set's like one I have with Aragog, I think there is also a small polybag that you can connect to it. I recommend this set to all of Harry Potter and Lego fans. If you never got any set before, it's a nice start without spending too much money or need of too much space. If you have other sets, this one makes a great background/ side bulid to make your display a little bit more interesting. And if you are getting it for your kid, I'm sure it's going to love to play with all minifigure and creatures!
