He was over the moon to add this set to his ever-growing collection. This is such a cute set and I quite like it myself too. The instructions were clear and easy to follow even for my 6 years old boy to build it on his own . We built it together the first time and then he decided he wants to build it on his own again. I quite enjoyed building it too and we had so much fun . I love how bright this set is. It comes with 3 characters to choose from and also with some spare parts in case any get lost during play. My boy quite likes the scooter as the wheels really work and he quite likes the hairdressers chair too. I tho the stickers were great addition and I loved all the attention to detail. This set is of a great quality and my boy loves playing with it now. It would be perfect as Christmas present or Birthday gift.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My daughter is 10 now. She was attending Lego club for a while and until now admires Lego. It was nice to see how happy she was to get this Hair salon set. The box suggests 6+ ages. Definitely I wouldn't recommend for younger ages, as too many small parts. Well for a 10 year old it is still ok. My daughter spent something like 1.5 hrs to build this up and then enjoyed playing with it. I love bright colours here and all little things that came with like a scooter, bench and fold chairs. For negatives, I wish this set had lower price tag and came with base to build this set on. Luckily we had one purchased separately, so used it.</span>

Great packaging on this, loving the less pink or more gender neutral look. She sat at the table for a good couple of hours and this held her attention. She’s also been playing with it since, adding it to her “city”. She has suggested we get an extension so we can build a Lego room! I suggested she build a room out of Lego! Anyway awesome small builder set.</span>

The building took a couple of days on and off and she did not require assistance from an adult.
When built it feels sturdy which is always a worry with built toys that they’ll fall apart. This wasn’t the case. It now sits with all her other Lego friends she has built and enjoys playing with all of them.
The instructions are pretty easy and all colour coded for ease. No complicated instructions which made it more satisfying for her that she could build on her own.
I would totally recommend this Lego kit.</span>

She has done a few sets before and was very keen to build this set independently. My daughter built the set in a morning by herself. The only thing she struggled with were putting the window panes into the window frames. The design of the windows is good as there is only one way for the panes to go but it was too hard for my daughter as they need a bit of force to click into position. The set is sold as 6+ but I do not think younger children could manage the windows unaided.
The instructions are very clear and easy to follow – excellent for any youngster wanting to build a set by themselves.
Once completed, there is plenty of play value with the set. There are several hair pieces that can swapped onto the people's heads. My daughter is really enjoying playing with the set.</span>
