<span itemprop="description">I'll be honest, I've skipped over several Friends sets due to the plethora of candy-coloured bricks, especially pink and lavender. Just not my taste at all. This one, though, is chock full of medium blue, and all sorts of earth tones. Very nice. The build is great fun with lots of interesting bits, plus there are some really good parts (especially for the tree) that will be handy for MOCs later - which is why I bought the set in the first place.
I have one BIG beef with the set, though: the stickers. I know that Friends sets always have lots of stickers, and for things like the beekeeper's flag or the area rug patterns, that's fine. Those are likely one-offs and it would be silly to print them. But using stickers for wood planks and round log ends, when other sets already include those as printed pieces? Come on, Lego. That's just sad. Printed pieces last longer, you don't have to worry about putting the stickers on crooked, and it makes the set look less cheap. You already have those pieces in printed form, just include them here instead of making stickers that do the exact same thing.</span>

The instructions were simple enough that me and my 10YO didn't get stuck. Even the 4YO helped by looking at the pictures. We have had HOURS of fun playing with it. Especially the little one. The slide is great. The little figurines are amazing, very detailed. It took a while to build, but that's all part of the fun. I'd highly recommend it. Hours of fun and great for imaginative play!</span>

It nice that they have a kid in a wheelchair, and that the elevator is wheelchair accessible. It is cool that the roof can be lifted up, and that there is a bathroom and a swing!
