At first we were a little overwhelmed by all the pieces, however the instructions are extremely clear. My 6yo put together the characters and horses and also helped put on the little pieces I couldn&rsquo;t. She has been playing with it for days, I see her imagination come to life - from the characters riding on the horses, to the carriage, playing with the little bird and mouse, having picnics and then putting the characters to bed. She was keen to get to work on the construction as soon as it arrived. Little Miss independent insisted on building it all by herself and she did an incredible job. The construction challenged her but it she succeeded in completing it with very little help. She has spent hours and hours playing with it, from building it to role-playing with the characters. In the beginning, I had to explain why the one character did not have two full arms, but once we talked about it she couldn't stop playing with it. Furthermore, she first struggled to take apart some of the pieces but then I showed her the awesome dismantling tool that comes with the set. I wasn&rsquo;t sure my 7yo little lady would be completely up to the challenge but she very much proved me wrong. We did this over the space of the day between extra-curricular activities so it took us a while but it was so much fun. Miss 7 was fully capable and dexterous enough to really thrive and I caught myself many times just feeling incredibly happy to be spending this quality screen free creative time with my daughter. It got me thinking of all the other Lego sets available and what else we could create together. The box was pretty big compared to the other Lego Friends set they have. There were 6 packets of Lego and a rather think instruction manual. My 6 and 10 year old got right to it. It was a little difficult for my 6 year old to follow the instruction but my 10 didn't have any issues. It did take them a good hour and a half to complete it. The little details are great miss 8 spotted the poo on the box and was excited to find it as building. The doors and windows opening was a great extra and it was such a solid build that nothing ever come apart while adding bits which was superb. Miss 8 noticed straight away the little character was missing part of her arm and was interested to know what happened to her. My 10-year-old daughter has been spending lots of time playing with the set. She was able to build it by herself, following the instructions provided. The set is big enough to create an imaginary play as it has a couple of horses and little people to play with. My Daughter&rsquo;s first comment was that she loved how one of the characters has a disability, it meant so much how inclusive the set was. This is a sensitive topic for our family, as my youngest daughter is also disabled. Amazingly, Lego is supporting inclusion through play. Miss 11 sometimes gets overwhelmed with multi step instructions but she said she really like the ones included in the set because they were clear and easy to follow. I really liked that the set is divided into numbered bags so it was easy to get her to take a little break between opening the bags and doing the next step, so she didn&rsquo;t get frustrated by trying to do too much at once. Overall I think this was a really great set that was enjoyable and stress free to build. She seems to really love the horses, as they are something she would love to have one day, and has asked a few questions about Autumn missing part of her limb and thinks that is cool that she still loves horses. The set is perfect display of autumn season. It almost took us 6 hours in total to assemble it. My daughter loves legos. The instruction are easy to follow and she assemble it all by herself i just gave her a company and see how she is doing. The horses, the human characters, horse buggy the stable with little details everything is a perfect display of the Horse stable. It is surely a great set to keep my child busy.
