<span itemprop="description">I’m probably not unusual being a parent of a toddler who not-so-secretly loves playing with her duplo at least as much as she does. I felt almost guilty buying this, as at the time (18 months old) her train play was pretty limited. Now though, about a year later, she loves building and running her train line past the “beach,” the “dentist,” and lots of other self-made duplo attractions. We’ve even used these ramps to build some elevated rail sections to deliver passengers to the car wash rooftop parking area! The ramp pieces can flex a little under heavy stress, but they’ve held up even when my daughter tried sliding down them herself. Agreed that the steam train may struggle on the climb if the batteries have been allowed to run down, but with fresh batteries it has no trouble at all.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Great add on for the Duplo powered trains. Most of the bad reviews are people who bought it without researching anything. My kids love it. Two different trains go up the hill no problem on their own. If they don’t check the batteries or reach out to Lego, they seem to want to help out looking over the reviews. Don’t think this deserves bad reviews from people who mistakenly bought the product hoping it would work with younger sets.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Like other reviews have said, this set is not designed to work with sets like "Number Train" (10847), "Mickey & Minnie Birthday Parade" (10597), "Toy Story Train" (10894), or other sets that have the larger wheels (often red or yellow) on the sides of 2x6 bricks. If you have either the "Steam Train" (10874) or "Cargo Train" sets (10875) that come with battery powered trains with skinny wheels then this set will work great and allows for must more interesting track design.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My son really likes pushing his numbers train around on Duplo tracks, so I thought he would like an expansion set for the basic set of tracks he already has. I knew that the "action piece" from this set wouldn't do anything with a simpler train, but I didn't realize that the train literally would not fit on the tracks. It's really frustrating that there are no track expansion sets available to push a non-motorized train around on, which kids love to do! I guess I will switch from DUPLO to a wooden BRIO-style track system. Not sure why Lego has chosen to make their train system have so many compatibility issues. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this kit or even the DUPLO train system more generally speaking.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The train from 5609 will not work with this set. It cannot engage the teeth to climb up the ramp. The train from 10874 really struggles to get over the hill. If you add a car to it and put anything on it, then it can't make it. So, now I've got two avid Lego Duplo train builders and one semi-working train that has problems.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have the numbers train, Mickey and Minnie's birthday parade train, this set of bridge tracks and another set of flat tracks. Unfortunately there is a raised lip on the outer edges of the bridge tracks that are a bit too narrow to allow the train's wheels to sit fully within the tracks. This often causes the train to derail as it transitions off the bridge. It caused my toddlers a lot of frustration at first but now they don't mind as much and just put the train back on the tracks. The price is definitely too high for so few pieces and such an annoying design flaw.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My 3 year old son already has a couple of the DUPLO Train sets and this is a perfect addition to those set. With the bridge it allows him to build a larger railroad. He loves to watch his trains go under the bridge. Works perfectly with his existing tracks and trains, the train have no issues with going up the bridge. We also love the new action bricks, it adds to the train fun!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This beidge is awesome. I gave these and 2 other train sets to each of my 3 grandsons. They have the switch train accesories and one other set with the train that is 2 years old. Not the newest train. These trains that are 2 years old do NOT activate the special "sound" part pf the bridge. That os really why this bridge gets a 4 star not a 5 . The bridge should say that. On another note the brisge with the other 2 sets makes a huge size diatance for the trains to travel. It adds many more options of configuration of track.</span>
