It’s not a hard set to build, while I was setting up the main section my son was able to put the cars together and start playing a game on his own having a great time. One thing that really stood out was the quality seems to be different and if a nicer quality giving the feeling it’s tougher. This would be the perfect gift to take either on holidays as it doesn’t take up much space to play with or the perfect hospital gift for a sick child, even though the box is large it’s just enough pieces not to drive you up the wall when it comes to clean up time. We really REALLY enjoyed this set and it was so easy to blend it with the other Duplo sets to make a big game. One very very happy little boy and entertained little boy for a few hours makes for a very VERY happy Mum</span>

My grandson loved building the race cars with no direction and a little bit of help from me building the rest. He loved it.
Loved building the Leggo and it didn't take to long and wasn't distracted at all.
At least a 4 year old or older as they can do alot of it themselves. That age can do it all in one sitting without any boredom. After completing he continued to play with it for the rest of the day making up games.</span>

His usual attention span when he plays, whether on his own or with me, for a toy or game is severely limited. He played with this for over an hour upon receiving it and many times since.
We had much fun working out how to build it like the pic on the box and then he loved also creating his own designs.
The two cars are great, not only can you switch the colors up but they drive on their own when given a bit of a push.
The packaging is great, very large and appealing for the little one.
This is hands down in the top two of his most used and loved toys he’s ever owned.
I would recommend it for any lego and duplo lovers and those with ADHD and or GDD. Thanks Lego!</span>

The bigger duplo pieces are great for kids who are easily frustrated like my son. He is able to learn how to click the pieces together without the frustration of the pieces being too small.
It's a great set for imaginative play, my son loved the starting line setup and particularly he loved the trophy cup.
There wasn't a whole lot of pieces to the set, so after about half an hour my son did get a bit bored. But there are a couple of configurations that can be made from the pieces.
The instructions are set out really well, clearly showing which pieces are needed to build that step and shows exactly where each piece needs to go. I found this great for teaching my son to follow instructions to build.
Overall I would recommend the set, probably around 3 years old would be the best age, my son did get a bit bored with it and he is 4.5.</span>

My son loves racing cars, and loved the fact that he could race the cars with each other, and win a trophy. He has played with this set for hours!
He enjoyed that there was both a female and a male person in the set, it lets him imagine that anyone can be a race car driver.
I highly recommend this set to everyone, it’s great for younger children, and older toddlers, I would however suggest to check the pieces before giving to really young ones first, although there isn’t anything majorly small.
I know my son is going to play with this for years to come, he just loves it!</span>

He loves anything to do with cars so this set was perfect. Everything on the packaging was well packaged inside the box. The amount of Lego pieces was more than expected and kept him entertained for hours. The quality of the blocks are really well made and function well together - he found it easy to piece together and create his own little pitstop with the pieces. It's the perfect size that fit well in toddler hands. The two cars that are included are his favourites. The cars are such good quality and the design of them is very well thought out and sturdy. He loved playing with these the most, 'racing' them around the room and putting the little drivers in the cars. Duplo are great investment toys and I would highly recommend this set. I will also be purchasing other sets in future.</span>

The push to go cars are a big drawcard, lots of fun to be had and holds attention for extended amount of time. Although Jr has other duplo, this set seems to hold his attention and keep him entertained longer. Car racing design is a great drawcard for him. Beyond building the podium design and playing with the accessories (fuel bowser, wrench, car brush) and racing the cars against eachother. Jr loved the concept that the cars race and the winner can carry the trophy. I would definitely recommend this to any kids who show an early interest in cars, Lego and working to build/make with their hands.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Race Cars components are quality made and will last, so it is something that can be passed down to other children once your child has outgrown it. The construction is fairly simple but holds enough of a challenge to keep young children interested. Having a couple of easily pushed cars that are robust means that it's a product that more than one child can enjoy playing with, making it twice as fun. Lovely to see that one of the racers is a girl and a girl is shown on the box playing with it so that it can be enjoyed by boys and girls. It comes in a very big box, twice the size of what is needed and the components do rattle about a lot in it, half the size of box would do. Components are lovely bright colours, large enough not to be a choking hazard and no sharp edges. It's a great fun product for young children that will provide them with hours of play and enjoyment, would definitely recommend it to a friend.</span>

They both created a racetrack using the accessories provided and raced against each other with the push & go cars provided. The blocks were easily manageable for young kids - no small fiddly pieces.
They also combined it with other Lego sets they had and made a bigger set to race their cars on.
