He particularly loved the light and sound bar on top of the cement mixer. He did still need quite a bit of help putting the pieces together but he had a lot of fun doing it. I do wish that the pieces fit a little tighter together as a lot of it fell apart once he started to push the vehicles around, but I also respect that they need to fit together easier enough for little hands to clip together. There are a lot of moving parts in this set, wheels, parts that open and close etc. which is great for inquisitive kids. The instructional manual was very easy to follow as it is a great quality colour print. It was nice to see some gender equality represented in the set too.</span>

My son opened it and put it together on his own first, and had a great time following the instructions in the booklet. It was easy for him to understand and push all the bits in place.
He loved playing with it but did get bored after about fifteen minutes. My daughter is 18 months old so she was a bit little to understand the instructions but she definitely enjoyed playing with it! The lights and sounds were her favourite part and she loved pushing the truck around and rolling the boulder down the slide.
I don’t think I would pay full price for this set to be honest, as it’s not large enough for me to justify that cost with our current household budget.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son absolutely loves this construction play set! It’s awesome because he can put it together in his own. He’s 4 and the directions are easy to follow and the pieces are the perfect size, making the assembly pretty easy for him. It’s cool for him to mix and match out the pieces making his own designed vehicles. The lights in the cement mixer are also pretty cool. Overall, the okay set is just fun with pieces that are big, reducing the risk of a choking hazard for his little brother!</span>
