Finally!!!!</span> <span itemprop="description">Background: I grew up with Batman the Animated Series. Its an awesome show that I've rewatched multiple and will continue to rewatch for years to come. The set itself is magnificent! The idea of doing the Gotham skylight was genius. The references to the past episodes in the details. Even the minifigures themselves were fantastic. I was so happy when I finally was able to open this set and start building!! I really can't find any faults with the set itself. However one thing I didn't like is sometimes in the instruction booklet it was hard to discern the difference between dark brown and black colors lego pieces. But that is such a minuscule detial that it hardly matters. Lego Inc. I am pleading with you please, PLEASE create more Batman the animated series sets! There are so many lucrative and potential sets to create from this show. Adults who grew up with show would love these and I think kids will have fun with these sets as well. (Even if the show is over 30 years old). In fact if you want some ideas I have some ideas that you can use...for free! 1. A Deluxe Lego Set Based on the episode &quot;Almost Got Im&quot; show casing 6 minifigures Batman, Commissioner Gordon, Poison Ivy, Two Face, Penguin the Joker. 2. &quot;Batman Mask of the Phantasm&quot; Movie based set. 3. &quot;A Christmas with the Joker&quot; based set. Specifically the 3rd act scene where the &quot;awful lawful family&quot; is above the vault of acid. 5. Two Face Based Lego Set involving Batgirl. 6. Deluxe 18+ &quot;Trial&quot; Courtroom based Batman set (Include all the villains, even create a Judge Joker minifigure) 7. If possible...Bruce Wayne's Manner from the the Batman the Animated Series. (This is a high ask so maybe just make it a miniature set.) 8. &quot;Nothing to Fear&quot; Episode featuring the Scarecrows blimp and bi-plane. There's so much more I would like to suggest but I think I have suggested enough ideas. Overall I can't state how much I love that this set was created! Not bad price considering the amount of pieces. Could do with a bit more joints at the rear. Only bad point was that bag 3 had a piece missing and an extra piece that wasn&rsquo;t required which really puts a bit of a damper on the rest of the build knowing it&rsquo;s not going to be complete. Easy to order a missing piece but takes 10working days to arrive. The buildings and fine details are one of a kind and truly brings memories of the greatest comic series. My only issue was that the tiles had a lot of fine scuff marks and compression marks which I think was the result of impression made during machine moulding. The design is extremely poor for hanging on the wall. The mounting hooks are mounted in the middle of the piece. Since this is the most expensive wall art piece it should sit flat against wall like EVERY other wall mountable piece. The top of the build uses cheap red squares that are warped out of the box. Also there is not enough rigidity to keep it straight. Honestly if I could return it I would. The reasoning why I&rsquo;ve come to this conclusion is because comparative to the daily bugle you had a lot of characters and this animated series one came with 4 figurines. I didn&rsquo;t like the sticker replacements and I feel it was very cheap on LEGO to not include at least a few more characters from the show. That&rsquo;s my biggest complaint with this Lego set. So the entire set bends in from side to side and top to bottom over an entire centimeter. It is very distracting and makes it undisplayable. I had been looking for a Gotham City- Night City Scape. This Dark Deco Art Set with its &quot;Dynamic&quot; colors, 3 dimensional builds, and fun hidden references throughout is beyond fun to build! Because of the &quot;dynamic&quot; colors, the set is easy to build, even for a person who has visual trouble in 3-D, any mistakes made...stand out on close inspection. I am mainly a mindstorm's robotic fan, but this set temporarily took priority over my favorite pass time. (I have one small correction that could help those of us that have vision problems-(on page 42 of the manual , drawing 36, if you could rotate the image so that the circular plate is show with its top to one side of the 1x8 plate and the the bottom hanging below the 1X8 plate, subsequent pictures 38, 39 show this a little better. Oh, I really enjoyed having a manual, so I could escape the computer for a while. I like the great job that Lego is doing with computerized schematics which are necessary for technic and robotics projects, but more magnification, rotation, and color would enhance that further for a person with visual 3-D problems. As a fan of the show, I could not wait to put this set together. The developers of this set really put some love and effort of bringing the essence of the show into this display piece with all its little secrets. If you didn't know anything about the build process you would have no idea what was hidden in the shadows. I usually get a few sets here and there over the years but this was the first one that I genuinely felt like a kid putting together as if I was watching the show for the first time. I took my time especially with the various tiles that have to match the artwork and to also enjoy the build. It has some very unique hidden Easter eggs that were nicely incorporated into each area. The characters are well detailed. Building this set is much in line with doing. A jigsaw puzzle and the ability to hang the finished product (with the exception of the character display) allows it to be up and out of the way.
