<span itemprop="description">I must say, this is one of the most enjoyable builds I’ve ever done! The build techniques for the “layering” of this cityscape are SO clever in places. Also: since it’s such a unique build, you’ve really gotta watch what you’re doing - not in a stressful way, but in a challenging one. It’s a beautiful piece of art when it’s all done, too. I took my time with this one, doled out my build sessions in small increments, and enjoyed every minute of it, even when I had to go back and fix errors lol. Watching the skyline take shape as I built was magical. Bravo, Lego engineers! Wonderfully creative way to build!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have treated myself with this set as a birthday present this year as I always loved the Batman franchise. Unfortunately, while building the set I have ran a cross the problem of the back pieces, which supposed to keep the different sections together, refused to stay in its place and kept popping out. Ultimately, I had to use super glue to glue down those pieces because I did not want my countless hours I spent on this set to go to waste by the whole thing falling into pieces. This will no doubt will make it difficult in the future to transport it when and if I need to move but so be it ;).
Overall, it is a beautiful set which I will have on display but I would not recommend it until this design issue is fixed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The kit is awesome and looks great after the build, but my main issue was the manual. The instructions at times were unclear and had random perspective changes (that at times didn't make sense). It would've been easier to follow this intense build from a Birdseye perspective, not random 45 degrees where I can't tell where my next piece goes. The coloring of the pieces were really dark and it was hard sometimes to figure out what color piece I needed and whether it was the flat piece or not. Other than that it's a great kit and fun to do.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is perhaps the best build I've ever done. No step was particularly difficult to complete, but the skill with part usage and with moving things in fractions of a stud width were magically done. And it's freakin' beautiful.
The only downside was the number of stickers. But can't imagine how much this would have cost if all of those hidden criminals were custom printed tiles.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The set looked just ok in the main photos but it was a unique set and Batman The Animated Series is one of my favorites so i bought it. Wow! It looked like there would probably be a lot of repetition and it was really only a display piece but the actual build process was easily top 5 most enjoyable sets ever! There ARE a lot of stickers which will turn some off but i thought it actually fit the set very well here. It was awesome to see so many details and various layers behind the city scape veneer. Having Wayne Manor with a hidden Batcave beneath it or the Arkham Asylum cells hidden behind an aquarium was so fun. This is one set i will absolutely love breaking down and building repeatedly. Get it!</span>

Il rend extrêmement bien une fois fini, les couleurs sont parfaitement choisi et l'effet de profondeur des bâtiments est très bien rendu.
Bref une masterclass comme souvent avec les set dans l'univers de batman!
Les 4 figurines fournies avec le set sont très belles et hyper réussi.
Petit point négatif pour les très nombreux stickers cachés un peu partout sous les bâtiments qui ne rendent pas bien en plus . Et pour finir le nom "Batman" au dessus de la ville, Pourquoi ne pas avoir écrit "Gotham"??? ou alors rajouter "the animated series" après le batman.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This Batman picture is an absolute delight to build, look at and discover! I brought this set as it was flat to build after i had surgery, from receiving the box it was hard to wait and not build it straight away, the box art doesn't do it justice to how it looks built.
The way you build tile by tile and build a skyline then a city, and then build onto that city to give some pretty incredible detail is wonderful.
They use a range of building techniques throughout the build which changes things up and makes it fresh and not boring, there are so many hidden tiles that show Batman's villains and building this up and putting it together, then being able to remove buildings to show another level of detail is a fantastic idea.
I half built this laying down and half stood up for something to do while i was getting back on my feet, and i thoroughly enjoyed every part of this build, to have a somewhat colourful batman set is also a massive bonus!
The mini-figure lineup is amazing, the batman has a 2 tone helmet so the white eyes are inset (nomore white lines on foreheads) and the joker and harley are absolutely incredible, personally i would've loved a riddler mini-figure rather than catwoman, but he is my fav so personal preference!
Overall i would recommend this very highly to anyone who wants a fun detailed building experience, and something to display after</span>

It’s an intricate build with small pieces like all art sets, but it wasn’t a bad build. I took off the Batman words on top for my display as they just look weird to me. Pretty cool display. Wish we had better figures.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is the best build experience I’ve ever had. Whoever came up with the episode numbers and breaking up build that way deserves a raise. I watched the corresponding episode with every new bag. Helped spread out the build, make it more memorable/involved, and really showed the care put into this set. Enjoyed the over all esthetic. With price of Lego + licenses and personal preference it can be hard to find a set I can justify getting. This probably takes the crown from my previous favorite set/build. The ucs slave 1.
Negatives:
-mini figs: the person buying this probably doesn’t care about mini figs. And there is no way to attach them to set. Would have preferred no figs or a more clever way to incorporate if they are that necessary. Bloated cost for stuff this set doesn’t vibe with. I also didn’t feel they were that btas-y.
2. The Batman lettering at the top. I might try to remove this. Haven’t tried. I read online at one point in development the letters spelled Gotham. Probably would have preferred that. The letters above do accent the display but looks a lot cleaner with out. And having a piece like this have big Batman on top is kinda tacky for how the rest of the piece is. Instead of a piece that someone has to look at or be in the know. This piece says very loudly, it’s Batman get it?
Overall tho, can’t say enough nice stuff about this set. Worst part is knowing there won’t be a set like this for me and my interests for quite some time. Great job!

<span itemprop="description">Background: I grew up with Batman the Animated Series. Its an awesome show that I've rewatched multiple and will continue to rewatch for years to come.
The set itself is magnificent! The idea of doing the Gotham skylight was genius. The references to the past episodes in the details. Even the minifigures themselves were fantastic. I was so happy when I finally was able to open this set and start building!! I really can't find any faults with the set itself. However one thing I didn't like is sometimes in the instruction booklet it was hard to discern the difference between dark brown and black colors lego pieces. But that is such a minuscule detial that it hardly matters.
Lego Inc. I am pleading with you please, PLEASE create more Batman the animated series sets! There are so many lucrative and potential sets to create from this show. Adults who grew up with show would love these and I think kids will have fun with these sets as well. (Even if the show is over 30 years old). In fact if you want some ideas I have some ideas that you can use...for free!
1. A Deluxe Lego Set Based on the episode "Almost Got Im" show casing 6 minifigures Batman, Commissioner Gordon, Poison Ivy, Two Face, Penguin the Joker.
2. "Batman Mask of the Phantasm" Movie based set.
3. "A Christmas with the Joker" based set. Specifically the 3rd act scene where the "awful lawful family" is above the vault of acid.
5. Two Face Based Lego Set involving Batgirl.
6. Deluxe 18+ "Trial" Courtroom based Batman set (Include all the villains, even create a Judge Joker minifigure)
7. If possible...Bruce Wayne's Manner from the the Batman the Animated Series. (This is a high ask so maybe just make it a miniature set.)
8. "Nothing to Fear" Episode featuring the Scarecrows blimp and bi-plane.
There's so much more I would like to suggest but I think I have suggested enough ideas.

<span itemprop="description">This was a really fun build and looks great mounted on the wall. Not bad price considering the amount of pieces. Could do with a bit more joints at the rear. Only bad point was that bag 3 had a piece missing and an extra piece that wasn’t required which really puts a bit of a damper on the rest of the build knowing it’s not going to be complete. Easy to order a missing piece but takes 10working days to arrive. I also had a piece missing from my previous set (concord) so not entirely sure what going on with quality control as never had a piece missing before.</span>
