I can’t quite put my finger on it but something about this set has me completely enamored of it. The build was repetitive, but fun. It took me no more than a couple of hours total. <span itemprop="description">A fun little project for any STEM minded NASA lover. Creators did a great job in matching the look of the historic lunar lander.
Note: This is not for young kids. The model is fragile. I dropped it accidentally and it exploded into 100s of pieces. Crazy thing is, it was almost as fun and a bit more challenging to reassemble than the initial build. I highly recommend this to any NASA lover and builder with skill.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This couldn't be more gorgeous. Well, maybe with a little more of an interior, but that's literally my only complaint. The gold bricks are gorgeous. The stickers weren't even that bad to put on, and I'm not really a fan of stickers. It was such a unique build and ends up very sturdy. I'm 41 and I was swooshing this thing around and landing it like I was 11. God bless it, Lego really makes me feel like a kid, despite the nose hairs and bags under my eyes. I should really do a Superman IV scene with the moon's surface. Too bad there's no Nuclear Man minifigure. (I think that's sarcasm, but I'm not sure) This is another one of those sets that I feel looks like a work of art. I could just look at it and look at it and never get tired of it. I loved the factoids in the instruction book, too. I wasn't alive when we landed on the moon but I will settle for this!</span>

I love how modular the design is: the lander sits neatly on the base, the various components can readily be separated, and the set makes for a lovely conversation piece. It only took me a few hours to assemble but it was missing two hinges (I have two hinges of the wrong type) and one wrong colored piece. The book was easy to follow and was chock full of information on the historical Apollo 11 moon lander. I'd recommend it to any Lego enthusiast or fan of NASA, history, and outer space.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This set was a real joy to build, I was missing two bricks but got into contact with LEGO and they sent me the missing bricks!
Great set for anyone who enjoys space or history regarding space. The instruction booklet while having the instructions also had interesting background of the mission itself as well as some great photos of such.
Definitely recommend, happy building!</span>
