The build for this Cinquecento perfectly captures the rounded charm of the original (with bricks??) and was an all-round delight to explore and put together. The whole build design is ingenious and supremely rewarding. Since then, I've acquired a whole pile of Lego Expert vintage cars and a few Star Wars and Pirates sets to boot. This problem was likely caused by lower quality control since this color is rarely used in the Lego universe. It finally looks like a real car and will compliment my Colosseum set nicely when I get around to buulding it in my free time! :) It's just a shame that more care hasn't been taken when packing/packaging the large transparent pieces that represent the glass window of the vehicle...as unfortunately my windscreen and rear window both have two large noticeable scratches in the transparent plastic... probably from the rubbing- would rather they weren't there! Other than that it's a fantastic model...with loads and loads of brilliant details...I really enjoying building it :) I did read some review's before purchasing this set with similar people reporting the same issue but that didn&rsquo;t stop me from buying this amazing set! Well designed and accurately pays tribute to the iconic Fiat 500. I am not a big fan of the use of stickers in lego sets, and there were quite a few used in this set. The yellow strip stickers for the front windscreen pillars bother me in particular, as I believe that this could have been designed differently with the use of a flat yellow lego piece which would have looked a lot nicer, rather than a sticker. The set I purchased had a few flaws. Firstly there is a variation in the colour of the yellow and maroon pieces (at least 3 shades of each can be found throughout the set) I am a perfectionist so seeing this inconsistency really bothers me. Some pieces appear to be scratched. Every 2x2 curved slope (regardless of the colour) has the exact same markings, when I first noticed this I thought I received a damaged piece initially, but realised that these scratches were on every piece, so this may be an issue with the actual mould that is used to create the piece. The clear piece used for the front windscreen came with quite a few visible white scratches, which really bother me as this is very obvious when the model is on display. My sticker sheet also came damaged and had a black line through it. This is most visible on the luggage on rear of the vehicle. I have a big collection of Lego and have never had any issues like this previously. I have always said that Lego have some of the best quality control of any company I have ever experienced. Of all the sets I own I have never had any issues (damage, missing pieces etc.) until purchasing this particular set. My son (6) loved the car but the COLOR! The bricks are not the same color yellow. Some (lots of them ) are different shade of yellow. It looks like I had the set on display in the sun for years and some Broncos turn a different shade. I called customer service and the lady suggested to make a list of every pieces that are different shade and submit a claim. There are to many - I have to take it apart, find a number for each item and submit the claim. Too much time! I love the bright colour. Simple to put together. The easel and paintbrush are a great extra. More detail could have been given to the top of the windscreen which is a little boxy. Some of the bricks are a slightly different shade of yellow to the others, in the set I received. All of the 6133822 and some of the 6022084. Also, some of the 6296487 are slightly discoloured, with a shadow across the curve, like black or grey colour was in the moulds previously and has left behind a little residue. It's not on all of them, but it doesn't come off, it's somehow mixed in with the yellow. In the right light it's quite noticeable but someone else glancing at it may not notice it straight away. Overall a fun project, and my first set that doesn't involve some kind of building/architecture. I think I'll stick to the buildings after this (modulars and others) as they appeal more to me.
