<span itemprop="description">Not impressed by a book store supplied with only one book. A very literal title for the build in a sense? It really only comes with one book. The modular is very sparse, and was originally priced with this in mind I believe; a decent modular for a decent price. Inflation has destroyed the spirit of that; this is no longer a well priced low-end build, though you are still getting the sparse original version. Boo to Lego for this.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I absolutely loved this set for three years and waited patiently until I saved enough for it. I was disappointed on many levels. As others have mentioned, it's a pretty "small" build because it's two halves and thus, the detail in both is incredibly lacking. Maybe I will construct a scene where the bookstore was robbed because it is lacking that many book. My other disappointment comes from the flimsiness of this build. Specifically on the teal side. I had to handle the Main floor and Top floor and both sections had areas that were crushed when I was applying things. The front door area is a bunch of 1x1 and I smoonched and had to rebuild that area when I was putting in the lights (which I love the build of) and the upper floor had a part where I dropped it (my fault, I am human) but it was splayed everywhere after that. After that slight rebuild, adding the back half onto the upper part caused me to crunch up that wall. I thought there were rules about stacking too many non-interlocking bricks on top of eachother. Many of the other modulars have what I feel are superior builds where more bricks interlock to provide that sturdiness. Mind you, my first whole Lego set arrived when I was 4, and I'm in my 40s-so I have some experience with these. It was kind of a let down overall.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This product is far to expensive the piece count and the only reason I say that is because I own and have built the Lego police station. First of all the police station despite being the same value has nearly 3000 pieces and the book shop only has 2500 if this set was £15 or £20 less then it’s very fair but seen as there is nearly 500 pieces between them (which is almost the same amount as Lego speed champion) and secondly it’s very bland and boring it has some great colours but not a very nice interior and no store line back to my other point with the police station bring better and more value the police station actually has a story line and many play features</span>

I know there are a lot of complaints about “not enough books” or “too small”, but I don’t see what’s wrong about those. Sure, there is only one real book, but the fake books look just as good. The entire fascade and buings are beautiful with amazing designs. I feel that the secnd floor should have been a part of the book shop as it feels small. Looking forward to buying more and more Modulars!</span>
