She chose to build the axolotl.
We were both surprised by the vibrant colours in this set and some of the new and unique pieces that we had never seen before.
It was easy to build for my daughter (she's almost 10yrs). I helped to squeeze some of the parts together better.
The axolotl looks great and has been on a few adventures since being built.
Maybe next time we can try to build the parot.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Creator Wild Animals: Pink Flamingo 31170 set is great, my daughter loves that she can build three different animals and that they all have movable parts, eg. The cockatoo can move its head, wings, feet and head feathers. My daughter really liked building the set and was very proactive and I love that the instruction booklet shows easy one by one steps to assemble the animals. My daughter likes playing with the different animals, she pretends they are our pets and just happen to live in our living area or her room. It’s really fun seeing her imagination.</span>

At first she mentioned that she preferred to build sets with characters but after building the 3 animals, she has now decided she likes this set just as much, especially the flamingo. She mentioned how she likes it as a decoration for her room. Her preference was flamingo, parrot and then the Axolotl. She has now expressed an interest in getting other 3 in 1 animal sets such as the Panda set and the rabbit set. My daughter took the lead building the set and was excited in particular to complete the flamingo. She said it was fun to build the animals and didn't find it difficult to complete. Initially I was sceptical if she would like it but I am pleased she embraced this type of set and loves it. She treats it more like a build it and display it rather than build it and play with it like other Lego sets she has. The inclusion of a paper bag rather than plastic was pleasing and I commend Lego for that initiative.</span>

I wasn’t expecting a three in one box that you could change and my daughter loved the axolotl. She did find it however quite complicated at first and it took her a couple of days to finish it but as you can see the results But great but she doesn’t want to take it apart to build the other two ha ha I will definitely buy more of these interchangeable Legos.
