I love that it is a generic box of pieces as opposed to a kit. However, there are only a few bricks of each colour as they include many many colours. The old sets allowed you to build full walls of one colour, not with these. Oh well. Also, the large box has 790 pieces--300 or so are single dots. There are so many teeny tiny pieces. And the 790 piece count includes separating the wheels from their hubs, and doors from frames. I know these are nit-picky complaints but once you open the &quot;large&quot; box it feels like there really isn't a lot of LEGO in there. There was a booklet with projects shown, and the steps shown to complete each project. On the down side, the kit contains ONLY the exact number of specialty parts needed for the projects.
