I have over 70 in my home ranging in different sizes from 4 inches to 7.5 feet. So I was thrilled to get the Lego Christmas Tree! I haven’t put together a Lego in decades - but I have watched my kids enjoy them over the last 15+ years. I would say this is like the old school Legos - the way they used to be. That simply means there are no labeled bags and steps that coordinate with said bags. This is literally dump all the bags out and search for all the pieces. I LOVE it!! That was always half the fun - and frustration - of Legos back in the 80-90s, searching for all the pieces! The instructions were very simple to follow. I had no trouble putting the different layers together. I love that you can do three different trees if you wanted to. I also could customize each tree to my liking, but for the first time building it, I decided to fully follow the instructions. I plan to disassemble it and start from new for next year. Maybe I’ll build another version. Who knows! I love that I was able to relive my childhood while putting this together ❤️ Legos are those classic toys that never go out of style no matter how old you get!</span>

The good this is that, from a distance, it looks great. Unfortunately that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The build experience was terrible—no numbered bags and unclear instructions. What’s more frustrating is how weak all the connection points are - the tree is prone to its many little pieces falling off at the slightest movement. Like other reviews
, I do not understand why the top part of the tree has been designed to rotate. I’ve been collecting Lego for decades and this is the only set I’ve ever written a negative review for. I’d recommend spending your money on a better Christmas set—Santa’s sleigh, for example, is excellent.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This build takes so long. It so repetitive too. I had a nightmare that I had to keep building more and more levels starting with the brown square. The sequencing of some of the steps is weird and counterintuitive. Overall it's beautiful, but delicate and the the spinning piece is kind of annoying. I feel like the intention was to make it a bit more robust so twisting the layers a certain way won't cause the whole thing to break apart.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought the first tree as an office decoration, on building it realised it would compliment the advent calendars very well (HP and SW) and as such I needed another set.
As a build it was enjoyably monotonous, a nice rhythmic sort, build, attach, and repeat process resulting in three very nice trees.
If you do build the two smaller trees there are a lot of pieces unused although I'm sure I'll find a use for them.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Way less mess, and more fun, than putting up an artificial tree this year. Touch smaller than I expected.... but really liked the extra decorations to let me put my own spin on the final look.
Waiting on a few extra bits to finish off the top part of the build (hoping they arrive before Xmas).
