<span itemprop="description">I've always loved seeing lego sets on tv or in store growing up, but unfortunately was never able to purchase any. this is the first lego set i have ever put together and im hoping it won't be the last. i was expecting it to be difficult to put together, but i finished it in only a couple hours. i chose to the the cherry blossom version. i think the "worst" part of putting this together was the blossoms themselves, but only because there were 100 pink frogs for me to put on the tree. it wasn't even bad, it just took some time. the instructions were easy to follow and it was well worth the money.</span>

The only small thing that I found hard was a couple of steps in the guide. This was the point when we had to add the flower on the branches of the tree. <span itemprop="description">This is an amazing build, there are two different options, green and pink. It is great to be able to change it up from time to time. This is a great set to put up for display, very adult, very astetically pleasing. I do wish it had all 4 seasons, but it makes sense as it is. Someone complained of frogs, but keep in mind The LEGO group does this on purpose, they use parts that are used for other purposes and it's fun to see certain ones, in this case the pink frogs are used as cherry blossoms. It makes sense and from a shelf or display item, they do not look like frogs unless you go right up to them. Not a deterent but instead a fun Easter egg. I highly recommend this set to any adult builder that wants an adult set to keep built abs in public areas.</span>

There is only one brick holding the connection in the bend of the tree and if you build the pink and white as shown in the instructions it’s weight topples the tree. The green is ok working out ok. It’s a shame because I prefer the pink.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is my second lego set ever and I was on the fence about it but REALLY wanted the pink frogs. Like, desperately. I at first decided I’d make the green leaves only then keep the flowers and frogs for something else, but I felt like it wasn’t as full as I’d like when it was done. Then I had an idea to make it look like a Sakura tree mid bloom and it really livened it up. I really appreciate how they went the extra mile with the stand. It could have easily just been the pot and tree but having the slatted platform gives it that extra oomph. The same goes for the gems that are used for the rocks in the pot. I may have made it wrong, but there’s a bit of back and forth motion on the tree trunk that made it feel a little unstable when moving. As I said in another review, I adore the botanical collection and hope it becomes a mainstay.</span>

The included print instructions are essentially useless, as the black, dark brown, and light brown all look the same. This results in dark, hard to see blob images that are next to impossible to decipher what piece/color piece goes where. I eventually became so frustrated that I tossed the print instructions aside in exchange for digital ones that I could up the contrast of on my iPad. The green leaf placement section of the instructions are nothing less than lazy, as they essentially show a finished image of the build with a couple of arrows pointing towards the leaf elements to be placed. In addition, the quantities of certain build sections are highly confusing and would have benefited greatly from some instructions that were more improved upon, even in the slightest.
Overall, this is a great set, a beautiful display piece, but it’s enjoyment is periodically stalled by the lazy, and at numerous times, hard to decipher instructions. With the overall quality I’ve come to expect from LEGO, these instruction shortcomings were quite disappointing and surprisingly, took away from my enjoyment of the build.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Got this and another set as my first adult builds. It took this on second and had a very relaxed afternoon piecing it together. It really is a beautiful set and the fact that it comes with optional leaves and inspiration for other designs is great. It looks great.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I completed this very quickly and yet given its description was expecting something with a little more challenge. There are many leaf and branch type bricks that the set does not use. Not sure if I agree with the frogs either… Hopefully another attempt at this will be made as there many model Sakura trees from other companies that have a lot more detail..</span>
