LEGO has just found themselves a new hobbyist and this set was a pleasure of an introduction to it. Couldn't recommend this set enough. Firstly, on the larger rock piece, it needed a wider base to properly support the banshee as it becomes too top heavy and could blow/ knock over quite easily. Secondly the wings are very flimsy and I wish they were made out of a thicker / sturdier plastic. Also there are instruction print errors on bag 8. My son is 16 and he has been building and collecting Lego since he was 2. We have hundreds of Lego sets that he has built and collected over the years. This new Avatar Tree of Souls Lego set is so detailed even down to the size of the actual figures. This Lego set comes with 4 figures that are made true to scale of the Avatars. The figures represent the avatar characters Mo&rsquo;at, Neytiri, jake Sully (Tobruk Makto) and Tsu&rsquo;tey. All 4 figures are avatar blue with detailing on each charcuter making them look as real as the characters in the movie. Each character also comes with weapons that look just like the weapons they use in the actual movie. The giant bird is so realistic and detailed. The bird is 10.5 inches tall and 19 inches wide with it wings spread out. The birds mouth also moves and has realistic teeth. The wings move in many different ways making the bird as accurate as the bird in the actual movie. The detailing on the bird is so beautiful from the yellow and red flames with the black design and the blue horns. All of these beautiful details makes this bird look absolutely stunning. Whoever created these pieces really put their time and effort into each one of these Lego characters detailing. Not to mention the tree of souls is absolutely beautiful. The tree looks so much like the original tree from the movie. The way they designed each Lego piece making it look like realistic and mechanical at the same time it is absolutely breathtaking. Whether you are a Lego expert or a child that just loves to play with Lego you will definitely be able to see the time and energy they put into each one of these pieces making this Lego set spectacular. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful and each one of these Lego pieces all flow together making the colors pop and looks so realistic. You also have extra pieces that make an scenery for the avatars with plant life, trees and flowers that are beautiful. I&rsquo;m not a huge Lego expert and only recently started buying sets for myself. However this was probably the best set I&rsquo;ve built and it&rsquo;s absolutely gorgeous to look at. The glow in the dark pieces do a great job conveying the bioluminescent glow featured in the Avatar movie. I also love the bigger figures used for the Na&rsquo;Vi characters and the ability to &ldquo;connect&rdquo; them to the animal creatures is such a nice touch.
