<span itemprop="description">I love Lego Architecture. I have built the Taj Mahal, Pyramids, the World Globe, New York, Tokyo, San Francisco and Singapore. I was excited to build the Statue of Liberty. The bottom part was beautiful and easy to assemble. However, when it came to build the statue, I ran into issues. The directions were not that clear, there were many, many tiny parts that came off. I never did get the arm to fit in as in the picture, even though I re-did the whole thing twice. Also, there were some parts that were similar and hard to distinguish (small cubes with 1, 2 or 3 bumps).</span>

<span itemprop="description">I found this build to be repetitive, and the fact that the structure is mainly two colors made this somewhat boring to build. In addition, the similar shapes of some of the smaller blue angled pieces of the draped dress were at times infuriating.
I know I mis-placed a piece or two, but swear that even if I’d built this 100% correctly the statue part itself should never be touched or even dusted. Too many pieces want to pop off, including the crown and the striding leg due to too-few connection points in some areas. This is probably exacerbated by the interior connector rods between the base and the statue which I think are made to emulate the fact that the statue itself could sway minimally in windy conditions.
Having said all this, it’s a nice representation, albeit without a face. I’m not bummed I built it :)</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really like this set, however the statue itself has a few elements that I do not find visually pleasing. You can absolutely tell what it is, but the detail really drops off around the head. My true reason for getting it was the base. The base is beautiful! I got it then plopped the brickhead on there. I could tell there was some neat element inside to keep the bottom attached to the statue, but i left those pieces out since i was using it to display the brickhead. I will say the base is a quite repetitive build, but the end result is pretty awesome.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is only my second Lego set that I have ever built. The first one was the Saturn V rocket, and I think that one was slightly better than this one but overall this was a very fun set. The experience of building this was very unique and it was not repetitive, the top was especially challenging. The reason why I say that the other set was better was because Lego made a few instructional errors on the last bag in regards how to put this together/it was unclear or something, anyways I was able to get it put together but this was something that lego should have caught. Secondly, the face of the model should have been designed better, I felt like it was so intriquitely designed and then you get to the face and it's just a flat piece? Doesn't make sense, it could have been a few triangular pieces to give it some substance. Anyways, these are very minor complaints to an overall very fun project that was most definitely worth the time and money spent on it. I will definitely rebuild it in the future!</span>

The platform is very sturdy and a little repetitive, but nothing like the empire state building. I would recommend this build to a historian, decorative item for living area. The great thing about this item besides the look is the book. All of the information on the history is a great way for parents to teach their kids.
Only one draw back, the face but can't notice away only up close.

<span itemprop="description">The build of the pedestal is very repetitive and wasn’t really fun as everything had to be done 4 times because it’s 4 sides. However, it’s very detailed, even the statue. The folds in the clothes, the crown, the right leg, the torch, all very nice, except for the face, which is a let down, being just one shield piece. Swapped some of the parts from the back of the dress to get the face more convex and the T-shape between the pieces suggest brow and centerline of face. The chin is subtly squared off, which is better. It’s not a huge improvement, but it’s better. I’ve seen other mods that give the face a nose, but it looks like a Moai head statue, lol.</span>
