<span itemprop="description">It took me quite a while to complete this lego project since I decided not to flow the OOTB instruction as-is. I kept the land area intact while customize the sea. Lots of trial and error. The most challenging part is to do your design within the limited color bits while maintaining the contrast & color theme.
I recommend using a flat head screw driver (gently) if you want take out / rebuild small targeted area.
Also, if possible, find a large table instead of the floor for the betterment of your back.
Overall, I enjoyed this "Art / Craft" project very much.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Love this map! It wasn’t an exciting or complicated build, but my husband and I built this together and actually found it pretty interesting. I used the app on my iPad and he used the book and we both found it fairly straight forward to follow. It was interesting to see how the continents came together and the oceans were so varied. But the finished product is pretty amazing, the shine on the flat pieces for the oceans contrasting with the raised studs on the land masses give a nice 3D effect. It looks like an art piece when hung.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Dear Lego executives, designers, and other decision making types…. I am partially color blind. Even though I live in a duller world than most I still can appreciate a colorful display. I may not see all the colors everyone else does but I can sometimes separate the shades in the right light. When I saw this map I thought it was awesome. It got even better when I saw that the instructions showed numbers over the colors and a key made of Lego to assist. I thought that you had thought of everything…. Until I opened the box. Would it have been too hard or was it that no buddy gave it a thought to nuMBER THE BAGS OF PIECES TO MATCH THE NUMBER ASSIGNED TO THE COLOR!!!! I have to take the whole thing apart because 7/8 of the way through I realized I was out of the color I thought was assigned to “6” and way too many number “8”s. It’s going to take me a month to get this all straightened out! I think I will hold off on purchasing anymore “Art” sets.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The building was fine but don’t buy this if you don’t have a masters in how to hang legos from your wall. It’s too heavy to lean against the wall but ZERO hanging info or tools are provided. Like one page you are building and the next page it’s on the wall and regular frame hanging kits won’t fit. So it’s a mystery what exactly you are supposed to do. Do not recommend unless you already know how to hang lego art from the wall. No picture because it’s been on the floor for weeks while I try different things that don’t work.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is my first LEGO Art set that I purchased and it was a challenging yet great set! It took me around 25+ hours to complete but after 15 hours, it started to get a little repetitive. I love that the oceans can be customised in a multitude of ways, and the white frame makes the whole thing look nice. I also love that the set comes with cone pieces to mark the places you have visited. One thing I was concerned about was hanging it up. The set weighs about 10 lbs. and my apartment doesn’t allow nails in the wall. I found that heavy duty Command strips that can hold 16 lbs. is more than enough for this set. Overall this is a great set! If you are in need of some wall art and don’t mind some repetition, I recommend this set.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a nice set which can be customised to however you like! There wasn’t a build set in the lego store yet so it was hard to determine whether the standard colour customisation would look good, I was hesitant with the pictures on the box.
So I started off creating the black and white set, thought it looked too plain so I customised it by adding different colours for each of the continents. The result really pops against the black! It also means there are hundreds of pieces left over to build your own art piece, just need to buy some more base plates.
I still hope to customise it further by adding flags or markers of where our family have travelled and the countries we want to visit when borders reopen. I started doing this with pins, see second photo.
Even though the set was missing a bag of pieces required to stabilise the back of the map (which I have now received) I think it looks great and would recommend this set.</span>

I wasn't a fan of the oceans so started the model 'customise the oceans' map with the cube but then found it a lot more fun and interesting just to decorate the oceans my own way. It's huge, and will make a great conversation piece on the wall. It took hours and hours too, and comes with extra pieces, so really good value for money. My only complaint is that the cat currently thinks it's a scratch board.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was really excited when this set was launch and knew I wanted to buy. Since working from home I have been trying to find something in my background on calls and this ticked all the boxes of what I wanted. The Build was slow and at times a struggle. It was hard to keep enthusiastic when the build took so long. Now it's finished I am super happy and can't wait to show it off in the background of my calls. One criticism would be lack of hanging instructions. They do provide hocks but no were does it state how heavy the map is or what hardware is best. I am slightly worried it may fall off my wall or destroy it. It's certainly not a light thing to have hanging up. All in all I am very happy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Great product if you want a world map to display in your home, that you can make interactive or stylised as you wish. Only negative, not enough blue (all three hues) if you want to do a more traditional seascape. Like the sea topography, but using all blues cannot be done with the dots provided and have had to (and continue to) purchase extras to complete as I prefer.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I loved building my map! Many a time I would finish a tile and have no recollection of the steps I took. I would put my headphones on and let my mind wonder. It took me a few days to complete, I didn’t rush to complete, just enjoyed placing every dot! Find a method that works for you; definitely empty the pieces into various dishes and away you go!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I am an experienced builder and this was my first art piece. The map really comes together throughout, however, I would suggest tackling this one with a partner. I found myself going through the motions around 50% of the way through given the repetition associated with using the same circle rounds. That said, the quality is certainly there you will be proud of the end result.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Maybe not for everyone, but definitely for me. I am enjoying the heck out of this build; trying different methods of building the panels (all of one color, by rows, outside in). Going to design a compass rose (with my antarctic whites? extra pieces?) and get creative on the marker cones, such as using pennants or animals and connecting long trips with string. Love it!!!</span>
