We got it for free from the Family Rated Club through Chick Advisor. The Sandyland playset is made with natural sand, and comes with a total of 2lbs of Kinetic Sand. This includes 1lb of Brown Colored Kinetic Sand, 0.5lb Teal Colored Kinetic Sand, and the crowd pleasing 0.5lb Pink Colored Strawberry Scented Kinetic Sand. Additional sand sold separately. The playset also comes with over 15 Tools, including: 7 Molds for making sweet treats (like cupcakes, cookies &amp; ice cream cones); 2 Stamps; 6 Toppings; a sheet of cardboard Punch-Outs, &amp; one Spatula. We both like the handy case. You can play in it, then fold up your scene for quick storage. My son said there was enough sand in the kit, but he wishes that the Brown &amp; Teal colored sands were also scented! He says the Brown Colored Kinetic Sand should smell like chocolate, and the Teal Colored Kinetic Sand should smell like vanilla. It would seem like a good fit for the playset. I think this Sandyland playset makes a great sensory toy for little kids ages 3 and up. My son enjoyed playing with this set, and thinks kids around 5 &amp; 6 years old will enjoy playing with this set the most. The kinetic sand feels like a mixture of slime and sand which is a great sensory feeling. It is also fairly mess free. The kinetic sand smelt like strawberries as well which was really cool! The product comes with a ton of accessories to make all sorts of things from cookies, cupcakes to castles. My daughter built a candy village using the moulds and cardboard cut outs that come with the sandy land kit. The best part is you can build everything in the case it comes in for future fun. My daughter spent a couple hours playing with this toy so it was a bonus for mom too to be able to get some chores done. Win win. We are big fans of kinetic sand in this house, and this set didnt disappoint! The sand comes in 3 colours, a really pretty teal and pink. The pink even smells like strawberry! My kids enjoyed creating their own castle land as they called it. They used all of the accessories to make cupcakes, ice cream, sandwiches and more treats. They had fun arranging the different coloured sand into a sidewalk, water fountain and pond full of gummy bears. The cardboard push out pictures of the castle, candy canes, lollipop etc. were a nice addition, although Im not sure theyll hold up too long. Baking 'treats' is always a go-to with our sensory play, so this Sandyland kit was a sure winner. My five year old has been playing chef for days, and my two year old has been having a blast figuring out how to manipulate the sand and use all the tools. And you know what . . . I can't keep my hands off it! I love the way it feels, love that it's easy to clean up (in theory, the bin contains everything, but my kids won't be contained, but it is so easy to glob it up off the floor). Well, I was really surprised as cleaning up really is so easy, even on rugs and fabric. The sand really sticks to itself and my niece has so much fun - and I do with her! Although I reckon this would be perfect for older kids who really know how to build something with sand. It's a toy that even adults will find fun playing with. It's easy to spend hours molding, squeezing, cutting, patting and packing the kinetic sand. It does stick to your hands, and to tiny hands and fingers of kids; so grains on the floor are very likely.
