It gives our young one a sense of security while she lays in it reading her books. It is very durable and has plenty of storage as well. She keeps all of her favorite books on the shelves so when she does read she doesn't have to go far. The look is also amazing and goes great in the corner of her room. The Book Nook Tent with Shelves is the perfect size for an empty corner or a center of the room play area. It&rsquo;s solid and sturdy, a great investment for years of fun. The shelves are great for books or toys that your little one wants readily handy. The play area under the unit is fantastic. My kids cannot stay out of it. It&rsquo;s cozy and charming. My daughter lays in her &ldquo;little fort&rdquo; reading for hours. It&rsquo;s so pretty and very dainty. She loves to pull the curtain closed and have her little private are.
