We agreed with a previous poster about having your own tools. They had to make a couple of adjustments on the fly but the instructions were easy to follow. It’s a great compact play set with just enough to do for my 4 and 1 year old. We added the bucket baby swing to ours. Very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend.</span>

We aren't handy people but the instructions were incredibly clear with just one issue- the orientation of the beam was flipped for the McKinley. The house has enough space for my child and I to read books on the upper level. Customer service was excellent. One of the walls arrived damaged and some of the hardware was missing but they sent replacement parts very quickly.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Quality is pretty good. One piece had some damage but we put it together anyway This was quite a project! You need quite a few tools and some expertise to get it straight. I’m pretty handy but could not get the frame straight. Luckily my husband is great at this. It took several hours though. I wish the wood was stronger. If I go up the fort part to play with my son, the wood groans and squeaks.
We painted ours white. Added some accessories (a bell, steering wheel, handles and periscope). We also had to move the slide to the other side to fit the yard (that was pretty easy). If only I could’ve found a unit with a green slide, I would love it (why the yellow slide ?!?)</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall I love this swing set. It's sturdy, well designed, and has a lot of nice features that makes this really enjoyable for my child, like the stove and kitchen sink. My only reason for knocking off one star is simply because, while I understand why they generalized parts for making them usable in a number of kits, it would be awesome if they could add a small mark on the wood where certain things need to go and not rely on end user (end builder?) measurements. But again, overall, fantastic kit, instructions were 99% accurate throughout, and now built this swing set is perfect for our yard.</span>

I did try contacting the company that assembles for Kidkraft but never got a response. I decided I would try it myself....it was very easy and instructions are simple and easy to follow. It took me approx. 8 hours working by myself to assemble it. It looks to be a well designed and crafted swingset. Only thing I was disappointed with was the chimney, it was a little cheesy and didn't assemble correctly at all. No biggie I just left it off. Overall Im impressed with the company, the product, and ease. Highly recommend .</span>
