Assembly will take time and require the right tools to make the job easier. Most of the work can be done by yourself but the slide will take two people. They should mark the wood pieces, front, back, top, and bottom as well as the numbers. Videos would help too. The slide? OMG, the slide. The pieces do NOT fit together unless you have eight hands! When you finally get two pieces together each and then try to put the circle/tubes together, one hole is bigger than the other. So you have to have someone shrink one and expand the other in order to line up the holes. then....I counted 7 holes on the tube and there are only 6 holes on the braces...what the heck?? THIS IS A NIGHTMARE TO PUT TOGETHER! You are better off hiring someone to do it from home depot or something. However, the assembly was a nightmare! Took 2 adult men and myself several hours a day after work and two weekends to get it together. You need one person who is savvy just to decipher the instructions so you don't accidentally put things the wrong way. There was certain frustration and an occasional flying tool (thrown) when we learned we clearly needed a break...a few mental breakdowns and a couple squished fingers during slide assembly, but well designed product (not assembly) and sturdy on the grass in our backyard. The slide was the most difficult and definitely takes more than one person to hold the pieces in place. The tube slide was extremely difficult to put together, and we weren't able to install the end of the slide because of the grade of our yard. My husband had a suggestion of somehow making it adjustable. There was an included tool for the slide, but the head needs to be ground down to properly fit the screws. Also, the little cafe shelf/table is in a horrible spot (on the side with the swings) so the kids would hit it. You would have to move the swing out of the way to be able to sit at it with the bench. We ended up turning it around so it's facing the inside of the clubhouse, and put the bench inside. My son loves eating in there! All in all it's a great swing set. My husband is very mechanically inclined, but with the bad instructions it took us a good 15 hours or more. It was very time consuming to put together, at least 15 hours. The kids have gotton spilters and a floor board and side wall is already broken. We have had several swingsets as we move often and there is no way this will last. I've already been contacted for the free delivery and assembly for my product and will be ready to schedule with them by April 1st. I know exactly what to expect, how long it will take and who to contact if any problems arise, thanks to the help of the employees at my local Toys R Us.
