As soon as my daughter soon it her eyes lit up she was so in love with it and also helps herself and me to learn new hair styles which is fantastic. She spent a good couple of hours doing one style then brushing the hair and starting again. It's a good toy to keep an interested child occupied for a good length of time. My children have loved playing with the doll head, making designs with her hair, learning how to braid and plait, working with a different texture of hair. I picked this doll as it is amazing to see a black doll with a full head of natural style curls! This is amazing to see and celebrates diversity. Would highly recommend this doll as it comes complete with a comb, head band, hair clips, elastic bands and other accessories. They love combing her hair, style them with different accessories and spray the hair with the spray bottle. They pretend to be in a real salon. The hair is so realistic and is so much fun to pass time with. I am guilty of styling it even without the kids near me. The comb, hair clips, spray bottle and hair band are such tiny important details that make it extra special. I&rsquo;m getting this for all the kids in my extended family. This teaches kids so much. It is representative of them and their hair and they were able to style it in countless ways. The hair texture feels lovely and although it does get tangled quite easily, the spray bottle assists in detangling and helps the kids learn how to gently detangle hair. The hair band accessory van be used on the styling head or worn by the kids. The accessories allow for numerous styles to be produced. The only reason it has not been awarded 5 stars is because after not even an hour of use some of the hair had already come out and some of the clips were not able to close as the plastic was not strong enough to maintain the closure.
