We unpacked everything and were making jewelry within a few minutes. We loaded the jewel pen and started filling the charms. This was a unique application I had not seen before. It was straightforward and fairly simple with the exception of loading the pen. It was somewhat difficult to remove caps without making a mess but that was a good thing! Having an adult do that part saved from possible spills. Lots of little beads and jewels are included so be careful if you have younger children. We made necklaces and bracelets both with charms and without. It was a fun activity and kept our crew occupied for about an hour. Everything was good quality so the final result didn't look like a toy or craft. Our girl wore it all day and the next.
