I have a different model by the same company, but yes it does make a whirring vacuum noise. There is a fan that makes the noise (and swirls the confetti inside the canister) when the button is pushed. A light also turna on in the canister.

I have a different model by the same company, but yes it does make noise. When the button is pushed, the canister lights up and a fan turns on to swirl the items inside the canister and make the vacuum noise. No, it is not a functional vacuum though. Its a toy.
