The colors are strong and rich, with nice details and he has bumpy skin which is a nice little sensory experience. He's smallish but a good size for my 4 yr old. His legs are movable in 360 degrees at the joints and pop out a little too, which is neat, and the tail tip can rotate. His head plate is sort of flexible and his whole head rotates a bit in all directions and he roars. There's a dial on his back that moves his head up and down, which also triggers the roars. The roar is my problem. Though my son says he loves the sounds.. It sorta sounds likes the animal is dying and it's loud! There's no volume or off switch so when his head gets moved it screams at you (that was fun in the night when a dog stepped on it). Which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Cera from Land before Time reminds me of this toy. My son only uses this toy to make it make noise. He didn't truly seem too fascinated by it or the toy itself, just using the sound to annoy everyone one.
