It fits him well. The chin strap is easy enough that he can do it on this own, too, which is a major plus. When you open your mouth while wearing the mask, it lets out a dinosaur sound as the mouth opens and the red light turns on, casting a raptor on the wall in front of you. The only reason why I'm knocking off a star is because the red laser light can seriously blind you if your child is standing in front of you or another child and they do and look directly into the light. While it's a cool feature and my son likes it, I'd rather do without. He stood in front of me while I was sitting down and it took a minute for my eye to stop seeing red. I can't imagine a child wouldn't try to look into it who doesn't know better. So, it would be better without that feature. Overall, it's fun. When he saw this mask he went nuts! The mouth opening and closing with his chin is cool as is, but adding the red tracking light takes this mask over the top! This currently fits him (seven years-old) but I could see it being too big or too small depending on your child's face size. It lights up, makes noise, and is very well made. There is a strap around the head and over the top to help it stay on better so that helps the ones with smaller heads. It was somewhat difficult for my 5 year old to operate. You are supposed to be able to operate the mask with your jaw, but his face wasn&rsquo;t big enough to do that so he has to use his hand to assist. Still loved it though and that seemed to be no big deal to him. Which is something they love to do. My boys favorite part is the laser on the mask. They also like that the mouth opens and it makes a dinosaur roar noise. My six year old said the laser would destroy my phone if I took a picture of him. My four year old requested I feed him chips through the mouth. One thing I don't like is that I have to adjust the mask for my boys. They have different size heads and aren't able to adjust themselves. It is quite secure and I can get it so it doesn&rsquo;t wobble much with a little fiddling. The detail is incredible. The light on the side is a nice touch. The whole thing was easy enough for my 5 year old to figure out and he loves this thing. It is made of good thick material and the eye pieces are padded for more comfort when wearing. There is a chin strap that goes just under your chin so when you open your mouth the mouth of the mask opens as well, which is super cool. My 8 and 4 year old daughters love it and they&rsquo;ve been wearing it non stop since we received this and it has held up to everything they can dish out. Me and my husband even played with this too!
