They both love Dinosaurs and kinetic sand, and this games combines the two which makes it perfect for them. The sand moulds took a bit of time to set up, which slowed the game down. After playing with the sand we then swapped to using playdoh which also worked really well. The game was easy to understand and play and I don't think each game took overly long. My sons both loved stomping on everyone's dinosaur clones and were laughing there's heads off each time they done it. Would of been great if the stomping dinosaour made a noise when you push down, but the boys seemed happy enough. I would recommend playing the game at a table as we got some sand on the carpet, it wasn't alot and it was easy to hoover up, but if you played on the table you could scoop it all back into the pot. The idea of the game itself is great and kids have really enjoyed playing it. It's essentially a race, which makes it more enjoyable. There's kinetic sand that's included in the game too. My 10 and 8 year old familiarised themselves really quickly with the simple rules and started playing in no time. The one thing I'm disappointed with is the quality of the board and tokens. It's all thin cardboard and won't last very long at all. I do feel that the board needs to be bigger, less compact as the sand holder and stomper are too big and get in the way, we removed it from the board. I also feel the dinosaur stand was uterly useless. I think if playing with 3 or 4 players definitely need more cards as the game moves fast and we had to shuffle the deck several times each game we played, was annoying and caused stalling if the game to frequently. It would be nice to have 4 molds instead of 2 so everyone can mold thier clones quicker and they should be a little deeper for easier transfer,ours kept crumbling when moving. My boys are 11 and a half and 9, both really enjoyed the stomping aspect of the game very much! All in all the game was very easy to understand and the quick play kept thier interest the entire game which as a parent is a great feature, niether one of them wanted to put the game away! I think this game would be great for ages 4 to 11 as it is very simple and the cards are easy to understand. We've played this game 3 times, and there is 1 card in the deck that sends everyone back to their starting point. I'm pretty sure that with the number of cards in the deck, you will always pull this card before finishing the game, which means you can never finish the game!! Your dino will never make it to the finish line. For me, this is a huge error in production and makes me not want to play because I know there will never be a winner and the game never ends. It included a game board, tokens, a Jurassic mould and kinetic sand. We played this as a family of 3 on Friday night -family game night. It was so fun and a great way to connect as a family. The only thing I would suggest would be that the kinetic sand can get a little messy with the younger ones (closer to 5 years old) so I would suggest to use some sort of putty or playdoh in its place. She loves Dinos and love Kinetic sand! Shell love making Dinos! Then we started opening the box to see that its a full game! I think I need to work on my observation stills. The artwork is so well done! For a girl who loves her Dinos the cards themselves are inthralling. Also I know its little, but I love that the game even came with a ziplock bag to put the parts in when your done playing, little things like that are really nice. Getting to smash the other players Dinos with T-Rex is so much fun for the littles, this game is always going to be out. Maybe not always being played as the board game, but making Dinos with the molds and squishing them with T-Rex. If you have a young Dino lover, this game is great, you get to work on your counting with the cards, moving up to 5 spaces, you get to play with the kinetic sand which is honestly super fun all on its own.
